KTjr
I fixed a patch in front of my garage. The patch and garage floor are level. The part I didn't fix, is higher than the garage floor by about 1/8". I started to grind it away with a diamond wheel, which someone told me to use. I am not happy with how it looks. I can see the marks from the wheel. Am I doing something wrong? Do I just need more pratice? Help please.
usa
Here is the trick. Don't use a wheel, use a cup. A wheel is flat and that is why you are getting rough concrete and can see the marks. A diamond cup has either one band or two bands of cutting power. They come in different sizes and shapes. They are designed for that purpose you are talking about. Will give it a perfect finish when you are done, even for a beginer.
Eric - TIA
Diamond cup is the way to go. They are not cheap. Probably any where from $50 and up. If you will only use this a couple times and don't have much concrete to cut, the lower cost one will get you by.
