Kind of did this demo with the adapter on as a 'worst case scenario'. Nice for clearing the work area of sawdust, blowing out the job trailer, etc. Mine also came with the little adapters. I bought it bare tool from Home Depot. I almost missed mine, because they put the adapters under a piece of cardboard that almost looks like the bottom of the box.
