BMack37
Is it bad that I've spent about five hours searching and browsing various Canadian tool websites since yesterday? We need to find a hand tools version of that site and another good Milwaukee dealer! I've found some decent deals but none as good as this, everyone else seems to be about as good as US sale prices.

BMack37
I think the CAD was stronger than the USD as recently as 2011 or 2012. Crazy how it fluctuates soo much.

khariV
I just got around to checking this site out- good deals to be had on a lot of things. I've got a question for anyone that's ordered from them. I see that they calculate shipping to the US. Is that the actual price that you pay in CAD? Are there any hidden gotchas such as import taxes that you find out about when you go to take delivery?Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

pjsockett
So when does the price conversion happen? I was looking at something and checkout took me to PayPal with the same amount that it was on IHL.

BMack37
I think on the last page before you complete your order paypal notes the currency being CAD. I've never heard of any duties/import taxes coming from Canada to the US.
comp56
small personal orders like these I'm sure it isn't a problem but if you started buying 100's of items it would become an issue...or smuggling...lol
rrich1
I am so tempted to buy the makita table saw. With the exchange it should be 422 with the gravity stand. Holy crap. The table saw alone in the US is over 500. Sent from my XT1254 using Tapatalk
