jeffmcmillan
Grab the chuck and give it a whirl... ...depending on the drill and clutch setting it might give you a whirl
comp56
21/25 is the highest. 1 the lowestSent from my iPhone using Tapatalkthat's not confusing....just kidding...lol I know it's a typo.... @torontoman along with the numbers there will be a drill symbol and if it is a hammer drill it will have a hammer symbol as well, when there are on those they the chuck is direct drive. chadlanthier
Try drilling on 1 and see what happens.
Fazzman
^^^ what they said, the higher the number, the higher the torque. Nowadays to be honest most folks seem to prefer impacts for pretty much all fasteners. Just remember the only "dumb" questions are ones that dont get asked. BMack37
Keep in mind that the numbers are specific to the tool, it's not a rating. Milwaukee's clutches seem to vary from model to model. I have a hammer drill that has a super light clutch and one drill/driver that has the heaviest clutch I've ever seen. Every other brand seems to have a lighter clutch than my two newer Milwaukees. 1 is always(that I've seen) the softer clutch setting.
