I prefer double padded carpeting, you can walk around barefoot, and its almost like your walking on a cloud. Hey, I like my luxeries ok so sue me lol. I'm torn between the two. My wife would not stand it if we had hardwood floor, so we put carpet, which is nice. But the hardwood look just gives a certain nice feel to the room.
