Conductor562
As great as Metabo tools may be, they just don't have the dealer/service network to be considered a viable option in The United States IMO. I wish they did, but it just isn't so
Ted Lan
Looks like a great saw. I still have my Snap-on saw that hasn't steered me wrong, but I might need to update. Usually go Snap-on products, as thats what I started with with my dad. Also have great work shirts I get from my franchisee at http://stores.nationalpremium.com/snap-ongifts/main.asp
Conductor562
Little known fact, Metabo is the OEM on a lot of grinders sold under other names. Ridgid and Hilti are 2 that come to mind. At HD one day I noticed the 4 1/2 Ridgid grinder said made in Germany on it. It struck me as odd seeing how Ridgid is a TTI brand, so I asked my tool guy and he said it was made by Metabo. I did some research and it appears to be legit.
ChrisK
Wouldnt it be nice if they would sell rights to the cordless tools to Metabo? Id love to have a cordless tool NOT made in China!
Conductor562
Hilti and Bosch have some that are not made in China, but they also have a lot that are. I've pretty much come to terms with the fact that cordless tools are not going to be USA made.
