  15. Lol. I know it's a workbench first. Little pizzaz wouldn't hurt though. I was thinking one strip on the long sides and maybe one in the legs. Nothing overdone. Sent from my Pixel XL using Tapatalk

  16. So I spent two hours today drooling over many different woods that would look great as a bench. All more than I would like to spend though. Then I was trying to figure out a good combo of woods one for the base and another for the top. Still more than I want to spend. In the end I am going to go with southern yellow pine. If I can find a good contrasting/complementary wood I will put a few strips in for accent. Will go back tomorrow to get it. Should still be there tomorrow. If not I'll find something else. 18. If it's lighting up and making an attempt to run then I'd check the drive train. Make sure any barings in the housing haven't dislodges which might hinder the rotation of the armature or rotor. Make sure the stator is correctly seated. Remove the gearing after the motor and try and run it. If it runs then the issue is in the gear train.

  19. Some tools I use pretty much daily, some I use almost never. I always clean them up before putting them away. I wipe hand tools off, and blow the dust out of my power tools. I take a little extra care with infrequently used tools. If I know it will be idle for a long period of time, I'll give it a coat of oil or whatever is appropriate to prevent corrosion or other storage issues.

  21. I have the 15g angel finish nailer and the Brad nailer and I couldn't be happier with them. The finish nailer could almost be used for framing with the power it has, leaves a larger hole then the Brad nailer or I would use the finish for all my trim work. But no ramp up time, no problem sinking whatever nail in put in it and ive only had one jam between both Guns in 6 months of having them.

  22. I definitely have a problem, I've started realizing this: Doesn't include a couple clamp meters or my non-Fluke DMMs: These are just the 4" PH2s from my screwdriver sets(Except the Klein which is a single), I also have other screwdrivers from other makes...and this doesn't include three unopened Wera sets and a new Craftsman set I just bought: Knipex is also at 67 pieces

  23. Couldn't you just spray clear coat on any sticker with good adhesive to make it moister resistant?

  25. Generally it's asking a lot of 1/4 to drive 1/2 stuff so I bet most will break at some point...but I'd try to get something made in Japan or Europe, check to see if the Makita adapter is made in Japan(though they might only have a wobble adapter), if not, try something like Wera/Felo/Wiha or if you don't mind spending some coin, Gedore. Honestly, as much as I like Milwaukee as a brand, I don't buy their bits or adapters, the metal they use is too soft.

  26. you so realize power tools is a gateway addiction, before you know it you will be looking to buy bigger stationary tools. My advise to you is pack that bad stuff up now while you still have a chance....I'm here to help PM me and we will discuss how we will look after getting rid of all that for you but don't tell anyone that I do this service there are a lot of guys in the same boat as you are in and I'm quite busy....only doing this as a favor
