  1. What do you think about paddle switches? I have a cheap harbor fright grinder. That thing scares me with the switch. If it gets out of my hand is going to caused some damage.
  2. Switch is on the side also. Do you think that's a better position? Is this another Bosch tool we won't see in the states?
  3. Funny! What, just plan E. I'm constantly on plan Z. Just kidding I usually don't have a plan. :-)
  4. I think people can disappear on forums. I remember being obsessed with adventure games a long time ago and always on some forums. Then my obsession changed. I think it takes time to be a part of this community.
  5. What do you guys do for maintenance on sawzall / reciprocating saws. I use compressed air on mine but there is always some caked on dirt behind the shoe where it enters the tool. I can't find any maintenance info for sawzalls anywhere. Most I read was Milwaukee uses specialized lubricant.
  6. Glad to hear I'm not alone. I just want to get the most out of my tools. Not just have them sit in a box.
  7. Agree with everything your saying Conductor. And I agree with you DR99. The tool manufactures are doing their job (and doing it well) when you already have a great tool (that can last a lifetime), then somehow you convince yourself this newer one is better. I love new tools, but I'm slooowly learning the beauty of owning a tool for a long time. You make memories with them.
  8. Ok guys, I really need your help! I have some OCD issue that makes me baby my tools way too much! I am serious. When I'm using my drill I have to rest it on a towel so it wont get scratched. Every time I use one of my tools I have to clean them thoroughly. Usually it takes longer to clean them then it took to use them. I know it's good to take of your tools but I think I'm taking it too far. What could help? Sometimes I think it's debilitating me from doing more work.
  9. That rigid 12v impact is sweet. Looks like it can take a beating and just keep on working. I liked the light(s) on it also. Really bright on the video they had.
  10. Thanks DR99. Never thought of looking on YouTube (duhh moment). I agree with you guys. High production (looks like a studio, etc.)
  11. Does anyone know why toolselect.com hasn't had any new video reviews in quiet a while? It seems like a month or so. Am I missing something?
  12. I just read this post completely. You guys are so cool and nice. I hope to earn a spot in the coolest forum on the net one day.
  13. Probably not for a while. :-( Mine is ok. Works well. I'm thankful. Just when you see the latest and greatest like yours I start drooling.
  14. The peak torque is 525lbs. Here is Milwaukee's link: http://www.milwaukeetool.com/power-tools/cordless/2602-20 I have the xc battery.
  15. Then I was saying how cool yours is. Sorry for for the confusion.
  16. Sorry I didn't clarify. Would you recommend buying just the handle for my older model?
  17. Thanks for the follow up video. It goes through it like butter. I just read your reply on YouTube, thanks. I have the older version http://www.amazon.com/Bare-Tool-Milwaukee-2602-20-18-Volt-Cordless/dp/B002DPFL5O/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1371946693&sr=8-2&keywords=Milwaukee+drill+handle That why I was asking what speed you recommend. I only put in 2nd speed once. Mine did not come with a handle. Do you think it's worth buying one? But I'll tell you that fuel looks so much better then mine. And two batteries. Thank you.
  18. I agree. I'm kind of surprised the technology has not been reverse engineered by now.

    Apps

DeWalts contractor app is cool. Like how it helps layout stairs. The Milwaukee app is just a catalog.
  20. I agree. Get your $2 back. Not right. So I have a question conductor, How are you going to do all this stuff? With all that you contribute to this forum, your job, traveling from Florida once in a while, and BUILDING a house, and much more. How will you find the time? I need to invent an internet enabled framing hammer, so your hammer will let us know how the work is going. :-)
  21. Chase, I watched your review again. That fuel is like a weapon on the second speed.
  22. I just did some searching and only found ToolStop.
  23. Wow. That's great you did so much at your other house. Impressive.
