  1. I remember that post. There were so many comments. Almost as many as the Raven mower.
  2. 10 hour commute. Hope you don't have to do it to often. Reminds me of my commute years ago from Houston to Galveston every day. I would listen to audio books. I will have to search that podcast out on itunes.
  3. Interesting technology. Here's what Wikipedia says: lithium-air battery, Li-air for short, is a metal-air battery chemistry that uses the oxidation of lithium at the anode and reduction of oxygen at the cathode to induce a current flow. The major appeal of the Li-air battery is the extremely high energy density, a measure of the amount of energy a battery can store for a given volume, which comes far closer than the energy density of most other types of batteries to that of traditional gasoline powered engines. Li-air batteries gain this advantage in energy density since they use oxygen from the air instead of storing an oxidizer internally.
  4. That was a great video Chase! Like I said on YouTube Dan and Eric should hire you! You has all the details, put it through its passes. Even had a experience of how it did. You are D'Man!!!
  5. Thanks CrazyAndy. The bench is from plans I found on family handyman. Here's the link: http://www.familyhandyman.com/video/device/mobile/t/57562177/how-to-build-a-garden-bench.htm?m_n=true#.UcTtekLn-aw I just made it with scrap wood I had (cheap 2x4's, poplar, and ipe). It's simple to make and super strong.
  6. Cool Chase! I'm also looking forward to the video. You are going to give Dan and Eric some competition. You know I have been thinking about what you said Chase about Milwaukee coming out with their own tool storage system like DeWalt and Bosch. If someone was inventive, they could cut out the inside of Milwaukee's plastic tool containers, then attach some type of fasteners to the outside sides so they can connect together. Volia, you got a tstak, tough box, or Lboxx equivalent. What do you guys think?
  7. Thank you Chase and Conductor. Conductor, I never would of thought of using a sticker and then peeling it off. Cool idea.
  8. Here are a couple things I made. Still some more to do on the built-in.
  9. VERY VERY COOL Conductor!!!!!!! Very good work!! Man you made a lot of different things. You could sell the halloween lantern boxes! The entertainment center looks great! I'm sure it wasn't easy. The coke bottle holders look like antiques. You made those? Slick how you made them look old. Very ingenious (and I love) how you can even sell it for more then it cost if you get tired of them! I am very impressed. You really are putting your tools to great use!!!
  10. Ugh. So much for my billion dollar show idea. Didn't even think about Tim the Tool Man.
  11. I had no idea about how brushless motors being notorious whiney and small enough for rc's. That m12 jigsaw is sweeeeet. My ($.02) is Milwaukee is not going to have any other brushless tools this year (besides the ones we just saw). Some of those say released in Oct. I'm guessing they showed these before release to deflate the hype of DeWalts new brushless line. Just my guess.
  12. Your so right Conductor, it was a cleverly infomercial. But we got to satisfy our tool fix. :-) So my tool show would be called NuTools. Every week we combine two different tools together to make a bigger and better tool. Like a chainsaw and jigsaw. You guys have any tool show ideas?
  13. Conductor, that's very cool about the furniture you made! I'm going to check it out in the woodworking section. I'm still trying to figure out how to post pictures.
  14. CrazyAndy, your right Steve Ramsey is great! Watch him every Friday. That whole series of videos using free pallets was great! Inspired me to make a composting bin. Best of all, it was FREE!
  15. Wayne, may I ask you, if you could only buy one type of storage would it be the Bosch lboxx or the DeWalt tough box system?
  16. Thanks CrazyAndy! That's funny Wayne. You guys don't get much sun there? But you dont get the 100+ degree temptures that some of us get. Also you guy get some better tools. There are some nice Bosch tools that we never get here :-(. And you get to see the latest episodes of Dr. Who before us :-(. I have to move there.
  17. That would be very cool if Milwaukee released storage assortment.
  18. I'm wondering how small they can get a brushless engine right now. The smallest brushless tool I have personally seen so far was the just released Bosch MXH180B Oscillating tool.
  19. Wow. 2 lboxx's . So what do you guys like to use to store your tools? I have been DROOLING & DROOLING over the DeWalt tough storage boxes. I have seen just about every video and review for Bosch lBoxx and DeWalt's tough boxes. Kept flip flopping over one or the other. I think when I saw the video of Dan and Eric pulling the tough box from a boat while Eric was drinking a beer (looked fun). Finally I settled I really want the DeWalt tough boxes. Not that I can get them, just fun to think. Like when you at the car show and say would I buy a ferrari or aston martin?
  20. Some of the wood working guys I like to look at on YouTube are Wood Workers Guild of America, stumpy nubs, carmichael workshop, and Laney Shaughnessy.
  21. You can find a few of them online on the DIY network. http://www.diynetwork.com/diy-cool-tools-episodes/videos/index.html
  22. Thank you Wayne! You guys are so cool to take the time to say hi. I have read a few of your posts. I would be here for a year trying to read them all. Same with Conductor and others. Thanks again for the hello.
  23. Wow. A railroad conductor. That is soo cool. Thank you VERY much for the warm welcome Conductor! I love the Mayberry reference. I live in San Jose, California. THANK YOU SO MUCH for the job lead. I am going to start researching it. By no means you are sticking into my personal affairs. I'm an open book. Borring guy.
  24. Would love to see what you have done Chase. I love making some wood working projects around the house. Made a desk, planter box, built-in cabinets, shelves, etc.
