  1. Could be, not every single chuck is going to be the same on every single drill... But I don't really think it's a serious problem because we haven't experienced any yet and we use them quite a bit... Jacobs makes EXCELLENT chucks
  2. I have very very little on my 780, I checked awhile ago... Checked the father in law's tonight while we were doing a job and his is pretty well the same as mine, very little play Hasn't caused any problems in our drills yet either, and we weren't kind to them tonight haha We were drilling holes in the wall outside here for a bathroom exhaust fan, 4" holesaw (maybe 5) on the drill...Took some abuse there but she did it and the walls here are about solid 6-8" think of solid wood
  3. I have craftsman ball peen's made in the USA I believe bought them probably 7 years ago now or longer
  4. I'd try and hammer out the dents and play with it a bit and use it, it was free so
  5. Like my hammer drill is just a corded cheap one I got from Canadian tire, for the amount of times I go through concrete and the like it's all I would need and it does a pretty damn good job and got it on sale for like 39.99 http://www.canadiantire.ca/AST/browse/6/Tools/2/CordedPowerTools/HammerDrills/PRD~0542951P/Mastercraft+Corded+Hammer+Drill+Kit%2C+100-pc.jsp?locale=en Don't always need a fancy tool to get er done
  6. One thing I've learned is you don't always need a name brand tool to do a job... I have some princess auto tools aka the Canadian harbor freight but they are uncommon non everyday tools that you need in a pinch and do a fine job... Like uncommon auto mechanic tools where snap on would charge 200-300 I got for 20-30 bucks that do the same job the 3 times a year I'd need to see it in a auto garage setting... So I can't see why anyone wouldn't want to jump on a that harbor freight drill if it's just to mix cement, thinset etc...for 50 bucks If your doing this type of job everyday and use the drill extensively I'd buy a good one, if your doing it every blue moon, save your money and buy a cheap drill... It's not like drill is going to explode in your hands or kill you... Some of those cheap tools work and go for years, depending what you use it for...
  7. To cheap to make them lol Radians makes the Dewalt glasses, same who make them for smith and wesson, Remington as well http://www.radians.com/radsite/ I just typed in safety glasses on ebay and these were one of the first one to pop up and at a great price, fit really well too...
  8. Ordered 3 pair of safety glasses/sunglasses on ebay the other day, I never had a good pair of safety glasses around so I ordered some on ebay and they work great as sunglasses which is great because I'm always looking for them and can never find a pair, ordered clear, smoke and silver mirror
  9. If I was in the market I'd probably buy myself a porter cable, seems to be one of the most popular ones around
  10. a lot of the tools are on the third page if anyone didn't know
  11. Box is a bit messy lately, needs a little cleanup
  12. They go on sale every year at Canadian tire of for like 25 bucks for the set so I grabbed it Chase, really like all my Irwin pliers best vise grips around
  13. This drawer got a big wrench set I picked up with all kinds of odd and different styles This drawer got my dremel tool, few pass through socket gear wrench socket sets, impact sockets Last drawer is all my ratcher straps, long pull rope and some other things And that about does it for my tool box... My big impact socket set, electric impact and a few other tools are missing from the picture but that's about everything
  14. All my pliers/vise grips are in this drawer This draw has some air tools, torque wrenches, some zip cuts, other different things This draw contains some drum brake tools, hammers, pry bars, adjustable wrenches This draw got my nut and bolt removers, torx and hex key socket set This drawer has my tap and die set, some big wrenches few odds and ends
  15. Took some pics of my toolbox this morning after I got home from work Top contains all my 3/8 and 1/4 drive sockets, ratchets, extensions along with axle nut sockets and few other things This drawer is like a junk drawer/electrical with zip ties, wiring, wire strippers, electrical tape etc... This drawer holds all my common wrenches both sae and metric along with my ratchet wrenches All my screwdrivers are here All my 1/2 drive sockets, nut drivers, hex keys, more ratchet wrenches
  16. Pliers seem more like a multi tool then ordinary needle nose pliers...
  17. Should work good the tape for sure, just never seen a tape go like 13 feet lol nice tapes though...
  18. Best system on the market bar none, no laser can match this... The light on top is centered on the blade and shows the full right of the blade on the piece to be cut
  19. I know but goes to show Dewalt isn't trying to hide piss poor numbers of their motors, seems like their almost all equal on that test to determine torque... If Dewalt has hiding something it would of showed up
  20. Labourer/burner man/control room operator for one of the biggest mining companies in the world
  21. The hilti's we used worked great but they didn't provide the comfort like the Dewalt does
  22. If there is one thing I learned on forums all over the net from atvs to power tools most people on forums are educated in items and will compare and breakdown purchases... But the majority will buy what they want.. Many tool owners are brand loyal like truck owners because Dewalt runs uwo and still sell a ton of tools and it won't change anytime soon
  23. Looks like Dewalt isn't hiding anything really pulling numbers in line with the fuel and bosch
  24. Mort people are gonna buy what they like and for what their willing to pay... Not everyone is a bit of a junkie like us and compare
