  1. I haven't seen any specs listed anywhere yet for any new product, the 708 in lbs is the number of the old premium drill not the new one... I don't think Dewalt released it yet that I seen 790/795 have 60nm - 531 in lbs
  2. I noticed he mentioned the new Hammer drill has 80nm, well I can't see it having the same TQ as the old brushed model... It would have more. The current dcd 985 has 80nm which is 708in lbs Plus I can't see Milwaukee making an even bigger drill...Maybe they will, but not right now I don't think anyway. Maybe I'm wrong
  3. The new Premium 3 speed brushless hammer drill was in the video and is coming soon
  4. New Levels look really nice, seem to be built very well Brushless multi tool, seems wicked and that thing cuts those shingles like nothing...Very nice setup Nice cordless bandsaw, wonder if it is brushless as well Love that compressor, it's so quiet it's crazy... 2 nailers, 3.0 cfm, 200psi... awesome The drill looks awesome, seems like she got some crazy power... I'm guessing more then the Fuel Chase, what dust extraction system are you referring to?
  5. They have a cordless brushless one coming?
  6. And what's that suppose to be, a 9lb 1000 in lbs drill made of pure steel? I think they better release a compact version because the one out now already weighs 5lbs
  7. It is the Premium Hammerdrill so I guess Dewalt answered our question of if they were making one or not And I guess Dewalt has 3 new table saws coming all with extended riping capacity
  8. Table saw heard from Dewalt's twitter page along with the 8v Flashlight and laser level...other stuff from Concord Carpenter https://twitter.com/DEWALTtough
  9. If you worked under ramps yes, but most guys buying these would be guys working in shops using lifts... Plus the Dewalt looks like it would work good both ways, The Milwaukee looks like it would be weird holding it straight up Milwaukee would work good in an industrial setting grease large bearings on electric motors, drives etc...
  10. So far we have seen Dewalt with a 20v XR grease gun, Looks like a new Premium brushless 3 speed hammer drill, New updated laser levels, 8V flashlight to add to the 8V line, New Table saw with expanded rip capacity, New trim compressor that can run 2 guns, 200 psi total. Some New Tstak boxes with dolly's, New CNC Machined impact bits plus some other things we have already seen Looks like some great stuff coming, The drill has not been confirmed but looks very close to being the Premium drill in the shape of the housing
  11. As a mechanic in truck/trailer, automotive guys hold their grease guns upright... It feels natural like that, I think that's why Dewalt designed it like that... It feels natural and probably what most people wanted to see out of their grease gun. By trade I'm an auto technician and I'd never want to hold a grease gun the way Milwaukee has their's setup... Just wouldn't feel right to me
  12. Not sure if you guys noticed but the 3 speed brushless heavy duty drill is right next to it haha
  13. Heard the next video they are using all Milwaukee haha
  14. To me looks like strictly the framing, roofing guys that want Bostitch tools but nothing fancy, just the basic types to do odd jobs they would need besides their air tools but at good quality without buying junk or super expensive Dewalt perhaps
  15. Looks like most of Bostitch tools are corded tools... meant for a certain type of contractor maybe? Maybe going after the TON of guys out there running Bostitch air tools that need some of the other basic tools out there like Circ saw, recip saw, drills etc....People LOVE Bostitch air tools because they are some of the best you can buy, readily available and have a fantastic warranty, so maybe going after those guys... They are on the Bostitch site now under power tools... No big advertisement or anything Like if you look at the Bostitch hand tool line, it was quite a bit more tools then Dewalt's line... Seems to focus more on home framing, roofers, general home building guys that pretty well stick to one type of job... Tons of chisels, hammers, levels etc... Dewalt's line is smaller PC seems to go after the Cheaper hardcore Di-yer/Pro wood worker guys... Dewalt all out all around professional contractor that does everything B&D well cheapo homeowner Poor quality Chase? Maybe the cheaper B&D tools for the cheaper once a blue moon home owner stuff for putting together store bought furniture and hanging a picture tools... But Dewalt, PC and Bostitch are far from cheap quality tools... Never seen fatmax power tools before
  16. One thing I noticed it seems like there is 2 slightly different jigsaws, at least from what I could tell and a cordless multi tool a PC exclusive 20v tool... People that usually buy porter cable don't go after Dewalt so it's good that porter cable is getting a nice cordless tool line again
  17. Some plastic even though it looks brittle is almost indestructible and if it's anything near the plastic dewalt uses on the housings for the rest of the tool lineup, I wouldn't worry to much about it... Plastic can be ultra strong and lightweight at the same. Far as tool lineup goes, all these tools appeal to a different customer at different price points through the whole market... It makes them more money probably in a sense because they are covering almost every price point in the cordless market
  18. Was wondering if the DCD 985 makes the same power using any battery...Will I receive all the drill can give using any battery? I know the runtime will be shorter but heard some people say the small battery won't give you the same kinda juice as the bigger one... Can someone clear this up for me, thanks
  19. It says only use Dewalt blades but even then if the Dewalt ones are good quality why not... Rather the quick change kit then needing a tool anyday
  20. Looks like Dewalt is coming out with a kit to make your multi tool key free with a quick change add on kit Be a nice addition to just about any tool on the market
  21. They are here in Canada, my local hardware store had a bunch of kits a few months back To the OP, Go with the Dewalt 20v, you won't be disappointed... Lithium Ion is by far the way to go now in cordless tools If you can wait you can usually get the impact/drill kit for 199 at certain stores like canadian tire...
  22. Great so far it's a 2011 500cc Sportsman with a TON of aftermarket accessories
  23. I rarely strip a screw with my Dewalt's, If I wasn't using proper pressure I would but with proper pressure behind my Impact it puts the screw right in... Built the whole deck here on each one robertson "2 bit on my impact and the father in laws... all about proper pressure... We each drove hundreds probably into the thousand or more of galvanized deck screws from 3 1/2" to 1" and still haven't ruined the bits
