  1. I am hoping that the $25 off Christmas special will apply for the gun assuming they have the sale. I’ll wait a few weeks but this is as good as mine. I’m going Tool only with the hog ring, I’ve got five batteries already.
  2. Here is the link for @Jronman post.... https://www.festoolrecon.com/ Thats a decent deal on the Kapex, interestingly about 150ish cheaper than the last time it was on so....keep your eyes open. It’s currently $958.75. Being a Kapex owner, it’s unparalleled by any other machine out there though I’m hearing the new Makita is a direct competitor and has pretty good dc (as I’ve been told) so the Makita can be had a bit cheaper. They might drop the tools to the next percentage off. Also, here is a link to a really good video showing capabilities for the machine... Personally, I bought my Kapex for about the same as the Dewalt which was a no brainer. I think it’s a phenomenal machine and having used it again this week multiple times I can’t say enough good stuff about it.... but again, that Makita looks pretty sexy.
  3. Dude. Work a couple of details and get the Domino!!!!!
  4. Keep an eye open. All I have seen thus far is the OF2200, the MFK700 and the Conturo. Supposedly they had some DC units on a week or so ago but alas, nothing else that I’ve seen.
  5. One of the coolest things I’ve got is that black compact Makita 18v impact. Color isn’t everything but hey, cool is cool and that copper looks awesome on the Ridgid. I’d love to see Dewalt do that too like @Framer joe said.
  6. Correct Jason, the only indication it is a recon is a paper decal on the box and of course the serial number is tracked by Festool. You will start seeing these showing up on eBay and listed as new so be careful. The warranty is not as long for a recon so you could get screwed.
  7. It doesn’t matter bro. Check the site link I attached and refresh: by the time you get an email it’s mostly sold out so keep refreshing it throughout the day. I think they have the 2200 in stock. They had the MFK700 set two days ago. I’m waiting for an 18v Carvex or the TS75 Also, I commented to yours on YouTube
  8. I stopped some diptard last winter running those stupid LED roof lights on the highway during a snowstorm. Moron.
  9. They have this at my. HD now, I just messed around with the display, totally square and the miters are tight on the plate.
  10. Yeah, she’s quite nice but this is a total production router. The weight and size is massive. I am hoping to move my shop outside in the next two years and will start panel flattening with this beast. For now, I’ll be running my largest profile bits and cutting large mortises.
  11. Hehehehehe.....I think I just “felt” something. Those look pretty cool. I absolutely love the looks of my compact Makita. I mean, it is a top performer and I use the gun all the time but being black just looks badas$!
  12. Are you serious?! That’s pretty cool stuff, I’ll have to check my HD out. I don’t need em but I bet they look cool.
  13. Sorry dude. I was kidding. Hence the winking happy face 🤘
  14. Seriously though, I doubt that every machine coming from team teal is crap outta alignment, I wouldn’t mind having this saw. But.....the Kapex is oooookaaaaayyyy so.....
  15. You wouldn’t happen to be a little biased would you 😜
  16. Just a video showing what to expect when you purchase a reconditioned Festool from the manufacturer. https://www.festoolrecon.com/ Messed up way of buying you have to check back regularly but I scored big time with the OF 2200 router. It’s an absolute beast.
  17. Don’t work that job dude. Seriously, that’s super dangerous PLUS if he gets caught...$$$$$$
  18. Dude that’s pretty awesome, thanks for sharing. On another note, my tough system case holds my Fuji HVLP sprayer but not the gun or hose so I’ll try and XL as opposed to the large.
  19. Awesome Steven! Can’t wat for my Son to join me in the shop, that is fantastic bro!
  20. Sorry guys. Let’s try to keep on topic. If you guys want to email each other with opinions great, otherwise next one locks the topic. So now that I’m writing I have Makita batteries for my at home Woodshop and DIY because that’s what I do. They work great. Never had an issue with a Makita battery in the last eight or so years of use. I also have more Dewalts than I do Makita and just had my first Dewalt battery crap out, one of the new 60v ones. Oh well that’s why they have a warranty. Regardless... KEEP IT CIVIL. This will be my last request. I don’t want to bounce anybody but please remember what I have asked. Thank you.
  21. Keep it civil. Everybody is entitled to an opinion. No need for line bashing OR members. Thanks.
  22. Go to Amazon UK to buy your Systainers way better pricing even with shipping and pound conversion.
