  1. Oh and one more thing, if your running a table saw, a shop vac ain't gonna do it. I ran my more powerful older Ridgid on my compact Dewalt DW745 and later my Sawstop. It was, on both machines, next to useless. It just does t have the volume capabilities of a standard dc unit. A dust collector is going to do the job because of its power and the CFM they can move, and can be gotten pretty cheaply on Grizzly.com or Harbor Freight. And yes, the Harbor Freight dc unit though cheap isn't too bad.
  2. Ive got the Festool MIDI and CT26 in my shop but I also have this wheeled, super compact AWESOME Ridgid vac in my shop for everything else and cleaning the cars. Absolutely love this little guy and it's super cheap.. http://www.homedepot.com/p/RIDGID-4-gal-5-0-Peak-HP-Portable-Wet-Dry-Vac-WD4070/202077241
  3. My 887 makes me all that is.....MAN!
  4. Three mowings, a hillside, the battery does not die and the self propelled unit for my lawn is not missed. My Honda had it, I loved it but it is so darn light it doesn't really make a difference. Great power in this mower ?
  5. Dudley. Don't be a rookie. You're N-E-V-E-R done!
  6. I would have done the same. I got a Sargent 4-1/2 equivalent from the very early 1900s and will be working on a small restore (its in great shape) but I'd love to that Lie Nielsen ?

    Track Saws

The hose and cord are separate but they do have a sleeved version with both in it (I've got one). As far as cordless, I've got the cornered TS55REQ and the new HKC55 which has a cross cut sled and can run on a track or as a regular skill saw. If your using it in the shop, the benefit is always breaking down sheet goods in a safe and accurate fashion with dust collection. Naturally I'm a Festool guy but o wouldn't think two about getting the Makita, it is awesome. The new Dewalt looks pretty sweet too.

  11. Makes sense to me bro, I just use a straight rule as a fence and remember once you get going straight the index pins make it a piece of cake.

Sortimo makes great storage boxes and commmonly Bosch tools are sold with Sortimo l boxxes. Like Tanos Systainers, l boxxes are pretty expensive. Have you looked into Dewalt tough system boxes and racks? Also, bearing in mind I have never made racking for a truck, making wood shelving is time consuming however you get to design and layout your own system.

    Hi

Welcome to the forums Steve, it's a great place to be!
  18. I just got the Ego non self propelled and love it. The machine is so light that there is really no need for the self propulsion. I'd get your Ryobi and love it up!
  19. I lucked out bro but my partner who lives up in Grantham got the same. He didn't lose power like half the state though!
