Ha, amen to that! Yeah Bosch had (s?) 36v. I got rid of all of my 18v stuff. Great tools but like you said, availability was not there.
  7. Veritas dual marking gauge. Thus far it seems quite solid. I'll try it out over the weekend [emoji16] Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

Yeah, I a man down to the FL12, the 12v rotary tool (absolutely blows the Milwaukee out of the water, I had the M12 one for years but this is absolutely awesome) and the 12v vac plus a couple of 12v jackets. The vac is okay, I use it to pick up the small amount of dust around my Kapex.

Still love my Bosch FL12 light. It's super handy, bright, light has a built in stand and a super strong magnet. I wish they'd come out with more ?
  10. Really?!?!?!? Who forgot to put a link to his own website????? Hmmmmmmmm??????
  11. Dude, Mafell is the schanizzell. That is a beautiful saw bro. Frigging incredible system too.
  12. Sorry to hear about the troubles Justin but that's a heck of a sweet looking ride you've got. I hope she brings you many $$$$$$$$ into your wallet bro
  13. It's funny, this looks an awful lot like the Mafell!
  14. Awesome bro. To be honest with you, if you are using those tools at home for DIY, I think Ryobi might make a lot more sense for you to go with. From outdoor equipment, saws, planers, pumps fans etc. Ryobi and Milwaukee certainly have it all but Ryobi is $ vs Milwaukee at $$$. If you can make back your cash Ryobi is a solid brand and you can't got wrong there!
  15. Welcome to the forum dude. Just out of curiosity, whata do you do for work?
  16. Our new home has a side entry and a double deck to our pool. The upper deck to the pool had so,e weird upper structure like a cheap-o arbor like frame work. I spent two days over this weeks vacation power washing the deck and today bought some 5/4 16' PT lumber to replace all of the railings. The cuts were interesting and involved a lot of different tools. My Festool HKC55 and T18, my Dewalt DCF887, my Makita DJV181 and XRJ05, a antique firmer chisel I got off of eBay, love that thing, my new mallet and a framing hammer. Lots of fun, many interesting miters, some heavy demo. More pics to follow, I am hoping to finish the lower deck rails tomorrow and hopefully put a coat of Thompson sealer stain on....

  18. Check it KC Tools but also look at WIHA. They make one that I've been using and am quite fond of, I'll try and find a link when I get home.
  19. Hammer action is quite loud but this guy is a powerhouse. I've been using mine with a 2.0 lately, and did some drilling into sheet metal. Very good results. My older brushed 785 model made short work while using a 6" hole saw through the side of my last home. I had to drill a 6" vent hole through vinyl siding, plywood, sillplate amd more plywood. I haven't put this one through so much heavy work, but it's got torque in spades and the use of it's sway handle is necessary for some applications. As far as your impact goes, try using longer bit holders that are impact rated (if your using that function). The small head is great for maneuvering underneath objects but sometimes, using a long bit extension fixes the problem of getting into corners. Also, I use a 2.0 in mine too. Plenty of run time for the shop and when using it for big jobs I've been using a higher cap battery.
  20. I love that little screwdriver, the chisel plane looks beautiful. No offense dude, but your definitely going with Marc's approach on Hybridism ??
  21. I'd like to hear your thoughts on this Jimbo.
  22. They sell different sized hoses from Ridgid and aftermarket ones too. You need to know the port sizes for your vac and the tool. Check the links above too to search Rocklers stuff.
