  1. Ya the 12v impact is quite a bit smaller then the 18v.
  2. I picked them up for pure convience thinking they would be smaller and sometimes be easier to carry around, but in all honesty side by side the 12v is literally 1/4" shorter. I might keep the impact. Now i just need to order some 4.0 12v batteries for the impact/hackzall.
  3. Ya that's what I was thinking, but in all honesty I think I'm going to return the 12v drill and impact, the 18v stuff is so compact it's basically the same size, and the lesser weight isn't noticeable enough for me. I'll take that money and grab a rotary hammer drill.
  4. ya the impact sounds sooooooo much better after using it a few times with some screws, must of just been some grease. Now the 12v drill isn't smoking anymore but it wont let me throttle the speed with the trigger, if i pull slow the battery level indicator just flashes and nothing, if i pull the trigger fast it works.
  5. The fuel m18 impact sounds not high pitched but more rough like crackling sound.
  6. Well the excitement was short lived, I took the 12v drill out of the box and pulled the trigger and she smoked like it was on fire and got very hot. So this was a dud, everything els seems ok except I'm wondering if the brushless 18v impact is suppose to sound kinda rough? That's the best way to describe the sound. Almost like a crackling sound, this normal? I've never had brushless before and my old dewalt was pretty quite.
  7. Pretty pumped to get these things into use next week, still waiting on my fuel m18 grinder.
  8. My fuel line should be here tomorrow I hope!!! For DIY the updated line should be great!
  9. Merry Christmas to everyone as well!!!
  10. I picked up both, since I couldn't decide. Can never have to many tools.
  11. Out of the tools I ordered I think I'm most excited for the hackzall, should be awesome under sinks.
  12. What do you all like? I've read that the tti has a weaker build because the titanium handles are just plates held on with 4 bolts, where as the waves handles are part of the structure of the tool. Is the steel on the knife worth the extra 30$? Any truth to the statements about the wave being stronger due to it being parts of the tool?
  13. 2, bought the hammer drill/impact combo, and the sawzall kit with 2 batteries, circ saw and grinder tool only. I wanted four 4ah batteries makes life easier then swapping batteries from tool to tool.
  14. I ask because to buy the 5 items I want it's going to cost me $1295 which isn't bad for canadian pricing. Alright placed my order.
  15. I'm about to pick up a fuel grinder/sawzall/impact/drill/circ saw and was wondering if there is any news on offering these in a combo? Save me a few hundred $$$.
  16. lol well I could add gas fitter too then.
  17. Copper will always have it's place in fire rated buildings, and riser mains in multi storey buildings. Also if any water lines are to be exposed(open ceiling) copper all the way.
  18. I'm at a loss, non of that should effect water pressure unless they both were leaking constantly loosing some pressure to them. Now that you fixed them your pressure is built back up.
  19. Has milwaukee fixed the problem with that pin snapping in the chuck?
  20. Ya thanks for the input I'll go fuel. Also strange how my account I made yesterday got deleted?
