  1. I can handle the snow so long as there is no ice. That ice is mean stuff.
  2. Today we drilled the holes in the bed for the snaps to put the cover on. The guy doing the cover is supposed to bring it by Saturday (weather permitting. They are calling for 6 or so inches of snow by Friday.).
  3. I have proven that theory wrong many times.
  4. We are working on putting the cover on the bed and straightening the tailgate now.
  5. I don't know what the deal is. From what I have heard their 12 volt line isn't anything special.
  6. The bare tool I would pick would be the sawzall because there have been times when we need one (we don't have a sawzall) and the only thing we have to cut wood with is a chainsaw. I would pick a cordless one because of the portability but I wouldn't need one bad enough I would pay 130 for. I would like to switch to milwaukee because of the new fuel tools (mainly impact wrenches) because I hate having to drag a hose all over the shop for small tasks.
  7. I highly doubt I will be able to get it. I imagine the drones will be very expensive.
  8. How close do you have to be to have the drone deliver anything
  9. For someone like me looking to upgrade/switch brands. I currently have craftsman c3 tools and they are fine for the price but I need something more durable and powerful.
  10. You could get the toughboxes and really throw people off when you pull out your Milwaukee tools.
  11. I am but it is still a good ways off. I still needs the firewall and frame painted, the interior, engine and transmission, and the front and rear end need work done on both but that won't take too long, and we still need to put the tonneau cover on the bed. My dad and I are going to rebuild the engine and transmission (turbo 400, for those who don't know what that is it is a gm 3 speed auto used in their trucks and bigger cars.) I bet we will have it done by prom (late April I think). Last year I drove his 64 Corvette to prom and we had a few issues with it but we got it done one hour before it started. That was the first time it had been driven since the previous October so a few hiccups were expected.
  12. Here is what it looks like now. I guess next is to start on the interior.
  13. There is one spot where the paint ran ( I did not do that ). We had a kid catch his pant leg on fire today but he was ok it just singed the pants a little.
  14. I wouldn't know what to expect with a drone flying around. I doubt it would go over too well in urban areas
  15. Here is the link if anyone is interested. http://m.homedepot.com/p/Husky-46-in-9-Drawer-Mobile-Workbench-with-Solid-Wood-Top-7440946/204354788?cm_mmc=shopping-_-googleads-_-pla-_-204354788&skwcid&kwd=&ci_sku=204354788&ci_kw=&ci_gpa=pla&ci_src=298346236
  16. I don't know your financial standpoint but I didn't see any good deals.
  17. I am as well. I took all of the ag classes as well. I took the tractor restoration one and the ag structures (we would build round bale feeders and troughs). I have improved on my welding skills a lot. The teacher said I am a better welder than him on a mig welder. One of the hardest welding methods to get used to is tig welding. The one we use has a foot pedal to control the amount of heat.
  18. Oh I see. You just need to get the wheels turning.
  19. Don't worry it isn't us that are lost it is just some if the parts. We have lost a few of the smaller things so far. We haven't tooled too hard though.
  20. I passed the tests for tech school by a good 30 points and I found out I get to room with one of my friends there.
  21. Looking good. One step closer to getting it done.
  22. Home Depot is having their 9 drawer chest on sale for 279.99. It is the one just like Eric's in the videos. I don't know how long it will last so you might want to hurry if you want one.
