  1. You might try paint thinner or choke cleaner.
  2. I just got an email from them and thought it was worth sharing with everyone. http://www.toolsofthebrave.com/?utm_source=Listrak&utm_medium=Email&utm_term=http%3a%2f%2fwww.toolsofthebrave.com%2f&utm_campaign=11.21.13_BIUSA
  3. I have a set of craftsman x-beam wrenches (I think that is what they are called) that I use most of the time. I can put some major torque down with them.
  4. They are for the drains for most things ( bathtub, sink, washing machine)
  5. If you would have waited too much longer the floor might have caved in.
  6. No not at all. It more or less drips. It is barely enough to tell.
  7. A body saw is used to cut a body on an automobile. Basically a small sawzall/ jigsaw.
  8. There isn't much of a point of a 36 volt impact driver because if they had more power you would break bits and screws all the time. They would still be about the same size as an 18 volt besides the battery. That is my theory.
  9. It leaks in our basement in the ceiling right below the bathroom. The house was built around 18 to 19 years ago.
  10. Meanwhile I can't cut a board straight for anything.
  11. I noticed that they had hitachi tools too.
  12. Don't forget they also have the occasional landslide
  13. We are fine now just having 30 to 40 mph winds. No damage just some fallen limbs.
  14. It was about 20 degrees two days ago and now the tornado sirens are going off. Ahhhhh Missouri weather.
  15. Our house has PVC and it is starting to develop minor leaks after 15+ years
  16. I think I will hold off on getting one for the moment. Now I have an idea if I ever want to get one. Thanks guys.
  17. My uncle bought a " bolt on " kit, guess how that went.
  18. They are the quickest of the bunch, no doubt about that one. My dad is the bus mechanic for the school district here and they have a newer bus that has a cummins in it and the big weak point on it is the electrical system. The gm sales person stopped there one day and said that to get a new bus with a duramax in it is $10,000 more than the vortec 454. You will never make up that difference over the life of that bus no matter how far it is driven.
  19. I have a 40 something piece set of craftsman screwdrivers that I use and abuse and I have yet to break one tip. My dad has the craftsman professional ones and the tips are more fragile (guess how I found that out).
  20. Some of the 12 valves are bad about cracking the blocks. It is only certain casting numbers though but I don't remember it at the moment. I have heard that the 6.0 fords are terrible. I haven't heard much about duramaxes good or bad. The majority of newer cummins are good.
  21. My uncle has an 85 chevy four door with a 12 valve in it. I would put a picture of it on here but I don't know how.
  22. I'm afraid we have all of the worst here in Missouri. It gets about 100 in the summer all the way down to 0 on the winter. It is good about 2 to 2 1/2 months out of the year.
  23. Even if that only scales 1/4 of the way that will still be a huge advancement.
