Ever seen them play catch before a game? Their huge grins tell me that footballs aren't all they're catchin'

ordered 20, thanks Javier!

First cordless drill I ever laid my hands on was a 12v DW953 dewalt. It still works to this day but I have a hard time recommending nicads, they seem to die after a few years wether you use them or not.

if that doesn't pull some tail, I don't know what will.

Best of luck with the warranty work

I'm aware of what he's trying to convey, just don't know if i buy it. Samsung makes a ton of 18650 cell's, different chemistry's, different mAh ratings, and different discharge ratings. I believe you that it's probably marketing bs, but tell me why.

Seems like he is just tearing stuff apart and trying to sound like a rocket scientist without actually providing any useful information. But hey, that's just my opinion.

Benchmade really hit the nail on the head with their locking mechanisms. Not only does it do a great job of locking the blade, it helps it stay shut in your pocket. Something you don't think about until a gerber assisted opening jabs you in your leg.

wish he would've went a little further in depth with the battery cells, instead of just calling them bullshit.

As far as the heads go, the only time I've noticed a drill to be superior was when I tried to remove some 3" screws with debris/dust in the head.

Well done Javier, only challenge I've ever seen exhausting a battery in hammer mode.

I agree with this 100%

I can't speak for all of them but my 2408 hammer drill has the truest running chuck I've ever seen on a cordless drill. Not bad for a free drill.

Hey guys, my brother is set on buying a 3/4" pneumatic impact. Anything to look at besides a Harbor freight model? edit: Moderators, feel free to move, accidentally posted here.

Is there any specified distance I should be from a wall of the shop before I snap a pic or does it even matter?

Last time I bought a sander was in 2008. I walked into home depot, looked at em' all, held them all, and ended up buying a ridigid. It's been great but if I had to do it over, I'd probably buy a bosch.

gerber e.a.b lite for me, used to carry a benchmade mini griptillian my brother got me but I'm tired of sharpening blades

Sounds about right, when kids need the classes more than ever they shut em down.

The other day my co-worker and I were up on a roof dissembling some scaffolding when his drill died, so out of laziness and for safeties sake, I slid my impact driver down the roof to him. I knew it wouldn't do any damage other than cosmetic, but I still groaned. So my question is, are you the type to baby your tools, or give em' a little abuse cause thats what they were made for?

still beats saying "hey, hand me that substandard reciprocating saw" lol

Found one to dissect.

Holy cow, both of my batteries are damn near new. What brand is your nicad?
-
Hot off the charger the craftsman battery put out 22.02 volts, while the dewalt xrp only put out 21.07 volts. I think this is a pretty good indicator that the craftsman pack does have an extra sub c nicad cell in it.
