Pretty, good prices. I wouldnt mind having the dewalt recip, but I dont really need another.

The lack of updates to the batteries is their biggest downfall in my opinion. I'm not saying to change the platform, but dang, give me a fuel gauge, a 4ah, and for god sakes, make it all compatible.

Driving piston will not return on Dewalt framing nailer

Maybe a bad o-ring on the piston? -
I couldn't agree more, from what I've read there's really no mathematical way to compare the two units of measure. I dont really know if Dewalt is wrong or right in doing this, but for now, it sucks.

They took it to heart when dan and eric smoked the last one. My makita fan brother will be glad to hear the news.

Grab the makita kit with the magnetic collar bit holder, it's one of the best I've used.

Call me crazy, but I wouldn't mind having a nice used tire changer, and a balancer to go along with it. Too bad I wouldn't have anywhere to put it.

I don't know much about drywall but that looks like a winner to me.

Not sure on that one. I know that you can check for continuity on potentiometers, but I dont know if that variable speed controller would actually be classified as a potentiometer or not. Best bet would be to check warranty before you tear it apart any further.

After you unplug it can you spin the wheel by hand? Verify that the locking mechanism isnt depressed?

I think the link is sending me to your order confirmation page

With amazon's promo to take $20 off a dewalt purchase of $100 or more it brings this drill to $98.53. Pretty solid deal in my opinion. http://www.amazon.com/DEWALT-DCD995B-Lithium-Brushless-Premium/dp/B00FWLC9DI/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1400996961&sr=8-1&keywords=dcd995

I really like mine, feels like a quality set. Only minor complaint would be that they're hard to hold when they're fully open.

Are the bits replaceable?
