  1. Good to know. The yellow side clips does looks and feels weak, I didn't notice it too much, since I only have the one. And I don't think they means to design the chips for heavy support conect for carrying multiple cases, but only for click them in place together when storing. If so it could be kind of useless for them, but I would be wrong tho. And if they do use metal latches instead of plastic. It would be much better for those useless chips. Maybe they try to push on the cart. Who knows;)
  2. Same here don. I used to like the Milwaukee bits. But after using solid dewalt impact ready bits. The Milwaukee bits go bye bye. The dewalt impact bits are really 10times stronger than standard bits to me and I said 5times stronger than the milwaukee. But like dr99 said $40 is way too much for bits that might get lost or somehow went missing tho. But good new is since the new dewalt impact ready bits are foming out. The old dewalt impact bits price is going to drop;)
  3. Yeah me, just bought my first Dewalt Tough system Large case DWST08203. I like it a lot so far. It feels tough and great quality. I was going to get a tstak deep box on amazon for my dcs 393 circular saw. Decided to stop by my local Hawaii appliances store HPM to see what they have in store ( since my local Lowe's and home depot doesnt have tough system or either tstak available at the store.) Got out of my truck. There is a brand new set of dewalt tough system displaying right at the entry of the store. The store worker was telling me they just got the shippment last week. And showing me all sizes they have available. They only have the small, larger, XL and the cart at the moment. I ended up bought a Large DWST08203. I was going to get the XL but it just seems too big for what I can store. Even though the large won't fit prefectly with my ciruclar saw in with the tray kind of float up a little bit it still close. Anyways just thought to share my excitement for my new large tough system case;)
  4. Yea. I remembered Lowe's did a in store trade in any old 18V Dewalt for $100bucks off to any 20V max tools about a year and half or so ago. But Lowe's only carry dewalt, Bosch, porter cable, hitachi, skill, Rockwell and Kobalt power tools.I think I see black and decker also.
  5. That's true:) hopefully soon.
  6. Thanks for the info. chad. Do you meant tool tray doesn't fit with the battery on or either in the deep box? And I wish it was come with the foam inserts. I remembered seeing it in the picture!! And if it wasn't that pricey. $21bucks is kind of a bit for it. Plus I only paid $29 for my Tstak Long Handle Organizer DWST17808 on sale on amazon;) I'm trying to look for a right size piece of foam and custom make it myself;)
  7. Yea. I think thats the case. Did you heard any news about 5.0ah Mr yellow?
  8. Oic. I guess I can use any sort as long as with the USB plug in.
  9. Ha! My favorite line " I'm proud to be yellow. Not only because I'm asian;)" lol......
  10. Still pretty kool that you seen a fully knockoff 20v max branded 5.0ah battery pack tho. I want one..... lol
  11. Yea.... when I was browsing search by dewalt 20v 5.0ah battery on google. There were a few of those sites shows up. Look in to it. There were nothing saying or showing anything about 5.0ah battery but the title, and the 5pc kits come with 2x 3.0ah pack. so I don't know.
  12. Bought another 20v max ciruclar saw. since my old one was long gone. also find out the dsc391B is quite a different than the dsc393B. might have to return the dsc 391:(

  13. Ha... you are funny; ) true tho. I like to use different tools to do different task. That's why each tool brand makes 20 different drills and impact drivers for drilling and fastening. And When I'm still hungover. I use whatever near by me to get the screw in, when I started drinking I use whatever I got, even a rock to hit the screw in. cuz I'm "Hammered"! Lame. lol.... j/k.... I try to be professional when I'm working;)
  14. I actually heard Dan and Eric at TIA mentioned about Bosch have a 5.0ah pack coming ouy, also heard bosch debuted their new 18V 5.0Ah Li-ion battery pack at the 2014 World of Concrete show. Although Hitachi recently came out with 18V 5.0Ah Li-ion battery packs, I will assume other powertool brands will release a new higher capacity 18V/20V Max 5.0Ah battery pack in 2014 soon of later. But I don't know Dewalt might have 5.0ah pack out already as well. Anyways. I put out 6 of my different dewalt 20v max packs to do a weight in. If some of you interested to find out their weight difference. DCB207 1.3ah ( no gauge ) 12.47oz DCB201 1.5ah ( no gauge ) 12.20oz DCB201 1.5ah ( w / gauge) 12.65oz DCB203 2.0ah ( w / gauge) 13.93oz DCB200 3.0ah ( w / gauge) 21.35oz DCB204 4.0ah ( w / gauge) 22.43oz Just so you know none of the weight in above are from offical either professional. I just use my little digital jewelry scale to come ouy this personal results.
  15. I saw some third party aftermarket made 5.0ah battery pack, which they put 10 of the 2500mah cells instead of 10x2000mah cells in the 4.0pack. Not sure they are any good thou. But none of them branded 20V max. I have been even having hard time finding place to get the right 2500mah with high drain 10c or 18A above high discharge rate special cells for building myself some costom pack. But I had over heard some other site mentioned about 5.0ah cells is coming out, wonder did other country already released them? Very interesting.
  16. I apologize if my lousy, mis spell writing might be hard to understand to certain point. English is not my first language and learning most of my english in hawaii might not be the best either. Lol..... friends often like to tease me said I speak very well chingrish......
  17. Anyway not try to go off course of the subject. Since I can talk about battery cells all week long;) dewalt built and lurched the 2.0 pack before the 4.0 if I remember it right. I think only the 2.0 has it, its because of when they design it. They want to step up on the game on making it higher heat ventilation and looks more badass on the 2.0ah small pack with higher amp power/hr capacity packs and only 5mins more on fully charge time than the 1.5ah pack. But reality is they realize it doesnt really make a huge enough difference on it. Since the li-ion cells itself handle well enough on fast self vent already I believe. To cut cost on making the battery pack they took off the design. (As you know every piece of extra material counts on the cost for mass produce product company) Thats why 4.0ah big pack doesnt have it, but remaining on the 2.0ah packs only. If some of you noticed the older ryobi 18V li-ion battery packs has two small speaker looking holes at the back. They have a small heat vent block inside as well, but the newer battery packs doesnt. I believe its the same reason.
  18. From my learning about li-ion pack throught out the passed year or so, tried to learn about battery technology and it took me days reading articles and then you have new batteries in new tools that do not even have documentation detail about them. For my understanding is the reason only the 2.0ah battery pack has it but not the 4.0ah big pack or others. It might be the cost of building them for the manufactory. All major powertool company has their own engineers to build their very own battery pack technology. As I mentioned before there are 3 main companies design, built and provided special high power, high discharge rate li-ion cells to different powertools comparies. Samsung, Sanyo and Sony, also LG and Panasonic are also working on theirs. Bosch, Milwaukee, Ryobi and Hitachi all use Samsung INR cells and Makita uses what appear to be Sony cells. Dewalt used to use Sony cells, and LG. But mostly using the Sanyo red 18650 cells. I personal think Sanyo made the best, long lasting 18650 cells for powertool battery packs rights now.
  19. Great question. yes, out of all dewalt 20V max battery. Only the DCB 203 2.0ah xr battery pack has I believe its aluminium made thin plate for heat vent to help cool down the cell pack from high discharge and created best performance for using and quicker on the charging. .
  20. Hah. Interesting subject. Never really looking in to what does the type mean. I think all of my dewalt 20v max are type 1. Not sure will that made a different on powertools tho. But I just bought a dcs 391B from lowe's today for replacing my long lost circular saw. I opened it and made a couple cuts to text it out. It seems to look and feel a little different than my old one. Went online and did some reseach about it. And found out they actually makes 2 different model (in US as far as I know ) for the 20v cordless ciruclar saw, dcs 391B I just bought as a bare tool and the dcs 393B I used to have that was missing for a over 2 months. They look about the same. But dcs 391B has a stamped shoe. And the dcs 393B has the cast magnesium shoe, also heard the cast magnesium shoe might be more rigid and possibly lighter and more durable as well. Not sure the inside any different. Didnt compare the rpm. But surely if I can tell the difference. It must be something;) I might go return it and look for another dcs 393B instead. Sorry didn't mean to go off the subject. Just thought my experience might interested somebody;)
  21. Oh. Is good to know the usb adapter can used on Milwaukee batteries. Even I dont have any Milwaukee. Because i'm full on yellow;)
  22. Thats about the price. I was pricing mine( since I already have total have 12 battaries (6x1.5, 3x2.0, 2x3.0, 2x4.0 and 5 chargers) I only have 8tools. I had been trying to sell 3 of my 1.5 and a charger for 35each or $125 for all on Craigslist. I thought I gave a reasonable deal. But only got 2 text back for the passed 2 months. The first person ended up decided to go to H.D. to buy the drill kit for $99. The 2nd person asked can he use it on 18V! Anyways, i guess not much people using 20V on the big island yet. Or the one happened to use the 20v dont go on Craigslist much. I had better luck selling my old used 18v. Anyway I would still rather to get the 4pcs kit. Since its a really great deal..
  23. Great info. Gator, I just wish they will release them all sooner;) but newer technology on the tool is going to need more time to develop, engineer and many tests. Before they release to the market.. we will just have to wait for the best to come.
  24. Nice job Javier. I like the video, just don't like to see the truth that dcd995 got blow away from the result:( Rematch! lol.... j/k I wonder if the 3speed took away the runtime. I also surprised that using the 3 speed didnt handle quicker on the drilling. Hum.. I'm still shocked by the result. I still love my yellow tho;)
  25. And just checked on amazon. cpo store only charge 6.98 on shipping or use prime for free shipping;)
