  1. Hahaha... thats awesome dwain. I was just browsing on Cpo-outlet store on ebay. They were 5bucks more there. But shows seller do not ship to Hawaii? Wow.... I'm gonna do a quick check out and see how much is the shipping and see do they ship to Hawaii at all.....
  2. I agreed. Cpo should set the free shipping for $99 above all time... they always pick or price their special $10 under the free shipping cost. I think they only do $99 free shing on holiday tho, like Christmas. I haven't buy from them yet. I wonder do they do free shipping included Hawaii or only 48states...
  3. Great find Javier. What a deal! Thanks. I think I might go for the orange camo one. Still decideing should I go for the full kit 4pcs with battery and charger. Its only 30bucks difference than the 2 pcs. Arr.... I really dont need anymore battery neither changer tho....... but for that price, its almost worth it to get the 4pcs and turn around sell the battery and charger on Craigslist;)
  4. Yea. I wish they have the multi tool kit came with box. That will be sweet but all the combo kits and the multi tool kits only come with the contactor bag.... I have like 3 of those already. Or maybe they try to push people to buy the tstak system? I mean they are pretty good price on amazon. Especially if you have prime. Tax are included in price and free 3days shipping. It a great deal for me shopping online get free shipping to Hawaii:)
  5. I remember seeing the combo kit at Lowe's and H.D. for $199 since Nov. It was on the black Friday sale and then for Christmas special as well. I guess H.D. just keep the same price every since:) Yes. I agreed they should sell it for $150. But I think they are still try to sell all the 18v combo. They still go for $149 at my stores here in Hawaii. Maybe that's why they price them at $199 still. they also have just the 20v drill kit for 99bucks as well....
  6. Oic. Im on prime. Gotta love amazon for the free shipping even to hawaii. Thanks for the follow up bud
  7. I really liking the price the store pricing them;) sometime they go for under $20 each. I like it.....
  8. Hum... great for 3bucks but wonder how much is the shipping to me... ha...
  9. And I also hope dewalt will get back in the 12v max line. Brushless on th 12v as well. I love the weight and size or the 12v line. But seems like they forgot about them;)
  10. We are. LOL. the dewalt multi tool is the bomb..... I love it. Blade are pricey tho. I found some 3rd party off brand set cheaper on ebay . And they are on there way now. Will find out the quality when they get here. I don't think is a horribly idea to get some m18 fuel to complete your brushless set. Only if thats what you want and have the extra money to spend;) I like the m18 fuel line a lot. Plus the 5years warranty and all brushless is the key. I really think! But I have already intvested too deep in dewalt 20v platform already. I'm with total of 12 20V max batteries now, but only 8 tools. At the point I guess I just have to continue wait for dewalt to come out with more new badass brushless tools and hope my batteries still good by then; )
  11. I sold, trade and gave away 10 of my 13 18v tools in the passed 6months. Now down to the 2 batteries, a xpr jigsaw, a angle grinder and a shop vac. Just posted them up online for sale. I invested about a 1000 bucks so far into the 20v max (half of the money were from my 18v tools I sold.) for 8x 20max line ( I have 1 3speed impact driver, 1 regular impact, 1 2speed compact drill, 1 3speed hammer and the multi-tool all xr brushless)( 2 led work/spot light and a circular saw) and 12 batteries. I'm going to be all set for a bit:) they are awesome tool. I'm very happy with them.
  12. I really think in you case its still somewhat worth it to get the 18v, since you still have some good 18v batteries. but I will suggest try look for a used one(bare tool). Many people are upgrading to 20V and selling their 18v. But for myself I wouldn't invest more money into the 18V anymore. Beside it is a very good deal. (I used to own 13tools from the 18v line. I was down to 1 good 2 okay 18v battery, but the 2 were going bad) And just buying 2xrp batteries cost 119 bucks or 99 on sale. the cheapest 3rd party battery on ebay are about $60 for 2 18v 2200mah ni-cd pack. I ended up purchased the 2 batteries online.
  13. I agree with whats everybody said above, 100%. Also. Dewalt aren't really dropping price on their 18v line tool. But the 20Vmax to everyday low price. Beside some stores are doing clearance on their store display or close out model. Sometime you find killer price on those deal... I bought a dewalt 1/4 hex impact driver (bare tool) store display model for $35 a year ago.
  14. I have a Dewalt Tstak I Long Handle Organizer DWST17808, that I love. I use it to store my xr brushless drill and impact driver set. The compartments for bits, 2 small pack 1.5ah battery and random stuffs. The first one I got was broken from shipping I believed. It arrived with a 9in cracked and some small pieces broke off from the bottom. even It was very well pack from amazon in thick shipping box. Contact Amazon, they requested to ship back the broken one and they will ship out another one the next day. Within 4days. Another one shows up. Amazon it awesome like that;) but I don't think the Tstak can handle any impact or fall protect tho. Tough system box use way better material than Tstak. But they cost much more. Tstak is more like a tool box to organizer and store tool and better protection than the free contractor bag. since they don't usually come with case like the old one use to be. I'm planning on getting few more from the Tstak system. Looking in to the Dewalt Tstak Deep-Compartment Tool Box (DWST17806) for my circular saw and othe saw. Wonder will it fit...
  15. True, I would think its going to be at lease $150 or more for just bare tool. But unfortunately I have a feeling it won't be out for a while. I'm waiting for the brushless circular saw... Where are you getting the DCS380B for $75? Thats a great deal;)
  16. So. does anybody hear anything about any new brushless tool coming out soon from Dewalt?
  17. Nice. But I was a little too late again:( next time;)
  18. For myself I learnt and found that in US, only brushless motor calls XR line up. Seems like in Australia 20V max line are same as US 20v max line, came with XR batteries but not the tool( wonder does brushless line has xr on the tool itself.) In UK they branded all theirs dewalt 20V max line to 18V xr, but they still call some of their premium li-ion tools XRP (not sure does the P stand for premium or performance? ) I think its because of they aren't legally allow to brand them 20V max so they just go ahead and brand them 18V XR to marketing the difference on 18V ni-cd and 18V li-ion. It's a little confusing that different countries brand or marketing their dewalt cordless tools very differently. There are something for us to learn. Because TIA is international site not just in US. Lol.... good stuffs;)
  19. Hey, just want to said not trying to argue or anything here. None of us here knows everything. We are all consumers like to chat and discuss tools here to learn and exchange information on our tools. I thought that is what the tool forums about! There was a topic for me. I'm sharing about with what I know, that's all. if we didn't talk about it. We all wouldn't know!
  20. OIC. Thanks, I guess I wouldnt bother looking in too much about that metal cutting saw. Hopefully dewalt will have a brushless circular saw coming out soon. Just got my dcs 355 kit yesterday from the mail. Never own or use a multi tool before. I was excited to try it out. Used it to cut some laminated wood flooring to cut a couple small gappings to fit them in nicely. I was impressed how nice is the handling and easy to cut out the little piece on the floor with no problem. The dcs355 is awesome. I'm loving it. Going to put a good use for it from now on. I might do a small review for it with the comparison on the batteries later on. I dont think it would matter with the 2.0 or 4.0 pack for tool. Since the 2.0pack should be more then enough power for it. But we shall see;)
  21. Hey Dwain here are the info. about XR for Dewalt http://www.dewalt.com/20v-XR-extreme-runtime-brushless-motors
  22. Huh? ok. XR does not mean brushless, their entire 20V Max range is 'XR' (for extended runtime). They should have left the XR branding for brushless like Milwuakee did will the 'FUEL' branding. ok. NO. XR stands for Extreme runtime. Brushless motor = XR. Dewalt XR line-up advertising Brushless motor (COOLER RUNNING. MORE EFFICIENT. LONGER RUNTIME.) offering up to 57% more runtime than standard brushed motors with their high capacity battery (MORE CAPACITY. MORE RUNTIME. SAME SIZE.) With 33% more capacity than standard 20V MAX batteries = Extreme runtime. Not sure its other countries brand all their dewalt 20V max tool (XR)? never heard of that! In US, only the Brushless dewalt tools call XR. Not sure did you get confused on the older dewalt 18v xrp(extended runtime performance) xrp were their one step up of tool line for dewalt. their xrp tools are more bad ass than their non xrp line. And they were famous on their xrp battery pack which is the taller black and yellow top case with 2500mah ni-cd cells in it instead of the standard battery pack with 1500mah. Anyway. Dewalt XR is their brushless line for Dewalt as far as I know.
