  1. Hi guys I'm thinking of buying a mini recip saw and I like the style that bosch and milwaukee have. Anybody have a suggestion on witch one I should get?
  2. HI guys my name is Fernando I'm in Kenosha WI. I pretty much do a little of everything. You could say a handy man. I,m a big fan of Dewalt(as you can tell by the name) Channel Lock and Vise-Grip.
  3. I've had it for about 5 years and so far so good. I have'nt had any problems with it but the blades are kinda expensive.
  4. This sucks I was doing a job about a year ago and kept thinking to myself I hope my tools don't get stolen. So finally I decide to buy a job box. Two days later they kicked in the garage door and tried taking my box but thankfully it was to heavy and they could'nt move it.
  5. Random orbital and a belt sander is what I use for most of my work. If I have tight spaces I like using my rockwell multi tool with the sander adapter.
  6. I like the bags when I have to carry a couple of things aound but they dont fit in my truck tool box that great and makes it really hard to organize it. But I guess its just my personal preference. For my circular saw and recip I love the bag but just for that. Does anybody know if they make a hard case for the 20v hammerdrill n impact kit?
  7. I pretty much do the same as the conductor but I run Dewalt for my cordless tools.
  8. Just an observation would'nt you be better off taking the dividers off and putting the batteries on the tools? Could you try that and let me know if they fit because I just got them and don't like having them in the bag so I am considering buying that tool box. Thank You.
  9. I think Hilti is as good as it gets. I have a couple of Hilti tools but I've had my Dewalts for years now and have never had a problem. Just blow them out and keep them semi clean and you wont have a problem. Don,t get me wrong if I had money to throw away I would buy Hilti but since I have to work for my money I'll buy Dewalt.
  10. I have the Dewalt cordless 18v and its great so i would think the 20v would be better. I also have the wormdrive skilsaw corded for my heavier jobs but I have cut many 2x12 and 3/4' plywood with my Dewalt. It's just up to your preference.
  11. I just went to Farm & Fleet in Racine WI they have the hammer drill and impact for $300 but I took in one of my really old 14.4v drills and they gave me $100 off. It ended up being $215 after taxes. Not bad seeing as how just the drill is $280. Drill #DCD985 and Impact DCF885 comes with two 3amp batteries, charger and bag. Great Deal.
  12. Just a question have you greased the chuck? You should do that every time you use it.
  13. I think that if you did'nt have those $9 drills the idea would'nt work. Those small transactions are what ad up little by little and are a good way for the consumer and renter to try it out without feeling like they are risking too much. Thanks for the update and again I hope you guys expand to illinois and wisconsin.
  14. Great for smaller jobs. Specially with the belt clip, makes it alot easier to work with.
  15. I've had a couple of redwings and they were pretty good but don't last long in concrete(longer than most of course). I've been using Timberlands for a few years now and am very happy with them. I think it just depends on your body and job.
  16. @ToolSpinner Love the Idea

  17. I don't know I have a pretty good assortment of tools so all my friends ask to borrow them all the time. I have a hard time saying no. So I think that I would'nt mind making some extra money from them. Plus they cover the damage if it does get damaged. I'm in Kenosha WI, and I think there is a good market for that. Theres a rental place a couple of blocks from my house and it's the only one around their prices are'nt bad but after so many rentals it ads up. I hope this takes off.
