  1. It wouldn't be to surprising if Klein made some pink handled tools considering they already have done a "Support our Troops" lineman's pliers.
  2. A friend of mine had a cat that would piss in his toaster while he was at work, key word in the story; HAD a cat.
  3. What did me learn today? Don't shake hands with Dan.
  4. Havn't been in the trade long enough to work around a lot of steel workers but I hear that they are some of the craziest/toughest guys on most job sites.
  5. small/midsize trucks have their place.... it's just not that often but, its nice to have something to run to IKEA or just move some stuff around on the jobsite.
  6. Not really a tool but a MINIMUM of one gallon of water is always in the trunk.
  7. oh man you guys are brutal! love it!
  8. always carry my Milwaukee fastback... even in gym shorts.
  9. Let's not neglect the tried and true made in the red, white, and blue Klein screwdrivers!
  10. The other day one of my co-workers got me pretty good by drawing on my water jug(see attached photo). And it's time for revenge do I'm calling on the TIA crew for good work place pranks you have seen, heard of, or, done. Thanks guys!
  11. Honestly Javier, it is a different feel then a traditional reciprocating saw that some people can't get pass.but the lack of vibrations is outstanding!
  12. there is VERY little vibrations, even on onehanded overhead cuts, Almost picked up the m12 but im glad to hear it performs well!
  13. Few weeks ago saw a killer deal on a m18 drill and hackzall combo kit that I couldn't pass up. and WOW did the saw impress me! For those awkward overhead cuts this thing is tits, the only downside is the shoe is nonadjustable so you eat blades a little faster (may be just madeup in my head)
  14. the makita gold bits are amazing, the magnetic tip however is junk. the magnetic "sleeve" portion of the tip always falls off.
  15. Honestly, the HDX tools that I have seen are really flimsy, cheap, and one use(what they are intended for)... buying an actual power/ pneumatic tool from them is a little questionable.
  16. It has been so long that I have been away from TIA, had to do a big move, and work was busy soI felt it was necicary to introduce myself again. My name is Tyler , 21 year old electrician (first year apprentice) and I am living in Tempe Arizona by way of Bangor Maine. p.s great to be back!
  17. honestly I was only in the market for a hacksaw, but you can't pass up that deal, even if it is an old(er) model.
  18. this looks like something Ryobi might team up with to add to the one+ line up, so HEADS UP Kato.
  19. Glad to see Klein keeping up with Milwaukee in the amount of new products!
  20. While making my weekly Home Depot visit I spotted a Milwaukee kit 266-22CT kit that includes an 18volt brill and the 18 volt hacksaw paired with two batteries for only 150 bucks(appose to slightly over 200)! honestly I was holding out for a fuel kit but this deal was too good for me to pass up, even though it isn't their newest technology but I think this will do the trick. so keep your eyes open because when a company keeps putting out new stuff all the oldies get marked way down!
  21. I'm all for"adapt and overcome" but sometimes it's just better to buy / rent a tool that is made for the job.
  22. Timberland Pro series has been my best bet, for the first week when you are still breaking in the "custom fit cushion" they feel weird but after that they are super comfortable... also I put a red wing toe boot guard on to avoid the steel from revealing itself.
  23. Still had the receipt, so I was able to exchange it for a new one... it does make me feel better knowing it may just be a fluke.
  24. Less then three months ago I saw dealt had a tape measure that A. Supported the wounded warrior foundation.and B.was made in America.a no brainer so I picked with high hopes.... they were short lived. The standout is decent but the locking mechanism shortly failed. Has anyone else had the same luck?
