Normally when I shop for tools I make an extra effort to find a product made in the U.S.A and that will normally be my deciding factor. Yesterday for the first time in a long time this took no effort at all. Literally all of the products I was looking at (small parts containers) and some sort of American affiliation!
REVENGE UPDATE: I got him back by wrapping his strippers with elc. tape. His rebuttal was COVERING my tool pouch (with tools inside) with elc. tape. That's ok because at the end of the day after he had all of his stuff in his tool bag I wrapped it in tie wire then duck tape.... literally made his bag into a silver ball.
Honestly you Can't go wrong with a CLC bag, LOVE this bad boy! http://www.grainger.com/product/CLC-Tool-Pouch-w-Suspenders-1LWK6?s_pp=false&picUrl=//static.grainger.com/rp/s/is/image/Grainger/1LWK6_AS01?$smthumb$
yeah I brought it to the tool rental center, 6-8 weeks to get it back (if they can fix it) but honestly it held up great. DR, that is a killer deal! If there is nothing that can be done with the Ridgid I may start to look at the M12 fuel...
Jordan, will your employer allow you to carry? I know it is a scary concept but when working in sketchy areas with tweakers around you might want to make sure you are safe as possible. (had a friend that was attack while working in an abandoned warehouse)
The other day my 12v ridgid finally died, after countless drops from the tops of ladders, lifts(once was from over 19'), and tool carts she has died. Not sure if it is worth trying the warranty or not.
