  1. You must have beaten me by seconds....we both posted this at 6:15pm...haha
  2. I saw the round one at Home Depot today....pretty unique design! I like that there is a lot of storage space under the tray & it is not recessed inside the bottom portion.
  3. The M18 Hackzall you have, cuts exactly the same speed as the M12 FUEL Hackzall (I have tested them both side-by-side).....good buy!
  4. They had boxes similar to that at the Milwaukee headquarters & the NPS14 event last month.....it looked to me like they bought regular jobsite boxes at Home Depot & just repainted them for decorations. They do not make them for sale (currently).
  5. I went through 6 fully charged 4.0xc M18 batteries on Friday......Tool reviews take a lot of time & (battery) energy...haha I think AT MINIMUM anyone who uses a cordless tool to make money needs 2-3 batteries. A DIYer or homeowner can get away with only one, since they can have the time to come back and finish after it recharges.
  6. Bigmikez......shoot me over your address & I'll mail you some recip blades.
  7. Milwaukee had some very nice M12 & M18 lights that run a super-long time, have great light quality, and some can even charge your cell phone at the same time @ this year's product event. They are supposed to be getting released next month. I would personally hold out until then if I were you. They arent magnetic, but the do have moveable hooks that will along you to hang them under a hood.
  8. Nice job Javier! I was very surprised at Milwaukee NPS14 last month, when they did not come out with a new FUEL Multitool.....hopefully in 2015!
  9. The first three things you should do are.... 1. Replace old windows with Insulated Vinyl Windows. 2. Replace old garage door with Insulated Garage Door. 3. ADD insulation in the ceiling (blown-in). Those 3 things will drastically lower you heating costs & BTU requirements to keep it comfortable.
  10. WOW! Great job dude I cant let my wife see things like this......or I will end up having to pour some concrete soon......I was dreading having to plant grass seed! haha
  11. I am going to guess the following....based on UK releases & "oops releases" here by some distributors.... - M18 FUEL 7 1/4" Circular Saw - M18 FUEL Mitre Saw - M18 Metal Cutting Circular Saw - M12 FUEL 1/2" Impact - M12 1/2" Impact - M12 4-in-1 Drill/Driver system (replaceable heads) Off the top of my head, I would hope the following will be released too.... - M12 Bluetooth Radio/Charger - M18/M12 COMBO Bluetooth Radio/Charger - Stackable storage container system - M18 FUEL Oscillating Tool - M12/M18 Cordless Fan - M18 FUEL Nailers
  12. I'm thinking you two should have switched tools in the testing, since Dwain you got the ambidextrous one! haha That is very surprising to see how much wood they can eat through on one battery charge....great job!
  13. That was the coolest "how its made" video I have ever seen!
  14. I ordered my new blaze orange one yesterday!
  15. Unfortunately they have to make people meet certain requirements.....because so many would go to craigslist, flea markets, swap meets, and yard sales to buy old RIDGID tools & then go to Home Depot and try to swap them out with brand new ones......like a rusty old craftsman wrench. Reading into it, it looks like they will replace batteries & serviceable parts ---- such as brushes, but it is not a "replacement warranty"....nor should it be. The lifetime of any cordless tool in my opinion is 5 years or less....simply because batteries & chargers cost more than a new model tool after that amount of time....there is a reason Milwaukee has a 3 year warranty on batteries (for example).....that is when they start to fail. And on power tools it is 5 years.....same thing. If someone pays $100 for a drill & uses it consistently for 5 years.....they will complain on year 6 that it broke.....and cannot imagine that they got $20 in value PER YEAR of use. I am surprised many companies offer anything close to a replacement warranty after that long.....car companies sure dont & people pay $40k for one of them! The problem with the term "lifetime".....is that the companies want it to mean "lifetime of the tool" & the owner wants it to mean "until they bury me".
  16. Thanks for your service & glad to see you are back in one piece!
  17. Wow....I never would have thought that.....great find!
  18. So you were one of the lucky winners huh? I love mine....I cant believe how useful it is! I use it all the time
  19. Cool! Did you end up being in any future reviews? Or will we have to wait & see?
  20. I just added OZTooltalk as a featured channel too.....keep up the great work guys!
  21. Wow they contacted you already about yesterday's video?? I guess they really keep an eye on product reviews! Thanks for the follow-up, it will be interesting to see if the replacements they send are any better.....please follow-up again when they come in!
