  1. The real question is.....how long did it take you to google her & watch a bunch of videos?? hahaha
  2. Here is a link to a review I did on numerous snips....with Midwest being the winner......check it out http://professional-power-tool-guide.com/power-tool-forum/index.php?/topic/4080-aviation-snips-full-testing-review-midwest-wiss-lenox-hdx/
  3. That is their Hand Ratchet for the dies (1/2" - 2") ..... the Knockout system is designed around the new Forcelogic knockout tool, but the hand ratchet I believe would be a backup if the battery died, or if it was in a very tight situation. They are also making this system compatible with other major brands of punches/dies, by selling an adapter to make the Forcelogic tool work with them also.
  4. I saw these at my local Lowes a couple days ago.....it will be interesting to see which brand they are rebranded from.
  5. Really??? You think he went to the trouble of comparing impact bits....only to sabotage one brand? Wow. Thanks for making this video! It is very time consuming to make a quality review video, and I appreciate you taking the time to do it. In anything, there is a winner & I think we can all see who that is in this case. Obviously the Shockwave bits are not lasting as long as the Dewalt ones, but as companies compete with each other....the quality will continue to improve. Who knows, maybe next month's batch of shockwave bits will go through a modified heat treatment & will last longer because of reviews like yours. Thanks again! Woodstockva

  7. No winnings.....I do however now completely run on the new EC brushless motor & I am the most powerful in my class..... haha
  8. My mother lives in a townhouse with a very small yard.....I gave her a corded electric weedeater to "mow" with, and she loves it. I think I will have to look into getting her one of these in the near future. No gas, no gas cans, no gas smell.....much better all around as far as I am concerned. Thanks Regopit!
  9. At least you are somewhere warm.....after the 80+ degree days last week, it was snowing again this morning!
  10. I typically will loan "non-essential" tools to people if they really need them for something......BUT.......they get one chance, and the first time I dont get them back quickly, they come back broken/damaged, or if I see them abusing their own tools......no more lending. Once someone gets the "why would I ever need to buy it, I just keep borrowing from you" attitude, they get cut off completely. I follow one rule with tools or anything else....."never loan something you cant afford not to get back".
  11. HAHAHA I have plenty of tools that I have either bought, used, or came in contact with that I absolutely HATE! But, I can also say that it is a lot of work making a review, and I would not put much effort into reviewing a tool that I did not like. I am glad that I know off the bat, when I watch a TIA review, it is typically for a cool tool that is useful & not a rip-off. It helps too that they are actually using the tools, and not just saying how shiny something is....good job TIA!
  12. Didnt win....but, on the bright side, the guy in the video does talk as fast as me! haha
  13. Thanks Javier! Make sure you get the 2763-22 version.....the 2762-22 looks identical & is priced the same, but has a detent pin VS the friction ring & is less powerful. The video review should definitely help your decision.
  14. I will say that I felt welcomed from day 1......And I dont hear the constant negativity on TIA like on almost every other forum that I have been on. Thanks for all the hard work making the TIA forum what it is today!
  15. We have a local Lowes that constantly has truck boxes cleaned out......They work in 2 man teams......one follows you into the store while on the cellphone w/his buddy who is in the parking lot cleaning out your truck. I always am mindful of "lurkers" in a parking lot......2 guys, 1 truck, "hanging out" in the parking lot....yeah, I will come back later. Worst thing I ever had stolen was a $4,000 landscape trailer. I had a guy that was working for me park it in my lot, and lock it up....or so I thought.....he couldnt be bothered with actually locking the lock, he just slid it on & it appeared locked. The next morning, no trailer....called the cops & they came....they said "yeah last night we had seen a guy driving through town with a trailer with no lights, but didnt get a chance to pull him over" Locks + Light + Dogs = much safer place
