  1. I like this box already. sure looks like it beats the bucket im carrying around already.
  2. That thing is incredible. I actually feel bad for those trees.
  3. I cant believe they melted Recon there. THey should have at least branded it where the battery goes. When youre done nailing stuff all over the garage, you might wanna check out the stapler. It has become my favorite when it comes to holding power.
  4. That M100 PD box looks freaking awesome. I want one of those.
  5. HD is showing 3 of these nailers available in my local store.
  6. Looks like its gonna be out soon. http://www.homedepot.com/p/Ryobi-16-Gauge-Cordless-Finish-Nailer-P325/204667878?keyword=p325 $199
  7. Ryobi says "Soon". They like to tease.
  8. I would love to see a framing nailer. Their brad nailer and crown stapler are fantastic. I am really looking forward to the 16gauge finish nailer that is coming out.
  9. I agree. Its pretty dang handy and Ive been using it more and more lately. I recently cut a bunch of abs pipe with it. Its great for working in tighter areas where you dont want to have to bring in the full sized miter. I also recently cut a bunch of 2x4's to frame a couple of walls in a bathroom and it handled them well as long as you let the blade do the work. Im gonna have to make the upgrade to the diablo blade soon.
  10. I recently saw a video where Jamie from mythbusters keeps one of these on the lid of his toolkit. I can see how this could come in handy.
  11. Looks like ryobi is refreshing a few more blue tools for those that care. 10" Compound Miter 10" Table saw Angle Grinder Random Orbit Sander Sheet Sander
  12. A decent metal shear/brake/roll, some m12 fuel tools, small jobsite compressor (rolair?), framing nailer, some channellock and Klein hand tools. Edit: forgot about a Tracksaw.
  13. I thought they ran out. did they start another batch or something?
  14. I recently used the multitool with a scraper blade to scrape a bunch of construction adhesive off of floor joists and it was amazing. I had pulled up my sisters particle board subfloor and it left a bunch of particle board and glue stuck to the joists. I had been using a hammer and a chisel to remove it when I remembered the dang scraper blade that came with my nextec multitool kit. It sliced right through the glue and particle board chunks like butter. It also made quick work of removing some old caulking from the exterior of the house when I replaced some exterior molding. with the right blade they cut through nails, staples, and screws. These multitools are extremely useful and not just a gimmick. everyone should have one. Edit: If you decide to go with something other than the dewalt, make sure you pick one with a toolless blade change. I hate having to use a tool to change the freaking blade.
  15. Looks like someone posted on FB that they spotted it in a Ryobi Catalog. Looks like its a 16 gauge straight finish nailer. P325 Here is a link to the manual http://manuals.ryobitools.com/documents/3295
  16. Dont laugh, but Ive been using the Harbor freight magnetic Nutsetters for a while now. I picked up both SAE and Metric 9pc sets for under $10. Its a pretty complete set for the price. I have not had any problems yet, but then again I havent had a situation where I really beat on them with my impact driver. 9pc Metric Magnetic Nutsetter set 9pc SAE Magnetic Nutsetter set
  17. Those proto screwdrivers look pretty awesome. Id like to pick up a set, but how many screwdrivers does a guy need? lol. Besides, im on a ratcheting screwdriver quest right now.
  18. wow. that thing looks impressive. Super compact.
  19. $50 for the 4.0ah is a killer deal. Ive only seen this sale one other time and I was kicking myself for not picking some up.
  20. CRKT Razel I picked up one of these in 2010 and have used the hell out of it. I plad about $40 for it back then, but its an awesome knife. Pretty good at prying open oysters too The liner lock in it is thicker than most knives and it has a "lawks" safety feature to keep the blade from accidently closing. They are discontinued by crkt, so it would be worth picking one up if you use your knife as a tool rather than an expensive box opener.
  21. Spotted a new Hybrid fan on their website. I am looking forward to seeing more Hybrid tools in the future. I've been wanting to pick up the One+ fan for a while, but the idea of it sucking up my batteries has been holding me back. I love the idea of being able to plug the thing in. edit: Looks like its already available at HD for $39
  22. Nice. I've got both and if you like the nailer, youll love the stapler. Its just as awesome. As far as the new nailer goes, Im down for it whether its a framing nailer or heavier gage finish nailer. If it says "airstrike", Im all in!
  23. Attention fellow Ryobi fans: I Spotted a different nailer in a Ryobi/Home depot (Canada) commercial. It looks larger than the Airstrike brad nailer or narrow crown stapler. Could it be a 14ga brad nailer or framing nailer? I wonder if its a prototype or if its even going to be available here in the states. Ryobi has been knocking it out of the park with these things! pause at 00:28
