Just pick up the makita golds and the new dewalt maxfit bits to test out. Been mainly a fan of the shockwave bits for so long. Just wanted to test out the different magnet screw holders. Also i believe that dewalt changed the name from flextorq to maxfit

I've personally own the testo 550, just the size is so much easier to carry. I use another FP tool to find target superheat. The ability to do all the different refrigerants is nice. I just have different hoses for each type and purge them and the testo after each use.

I think they pulled that deal this month just want to check on it, maybe still in store you can order it. I pick the oscillating multi tool as the free bare tool. Milwaukee is updating the hacksaw this year I believe to the fuel line

Used the hammer drill the other day mounted two 40inch tv mounts and still had power to go. Every bashes the led light, personally I use an head lamp if I'm going to be in a dark place. Let's say that my 18v makitas have been staying on the truck

I've just picked up my m12 fuel combo kit with an hammer drill. Allot easier to carry around then my 18v makitas

Sman4 ports are very easy to break, seen several of them break at work. I prefer just to use yellow jacket gauges and separate tools to calculate superheat

Thinking about getting 3 different m12 combo kits in the next couple weeks, just think they would be lighter and better then my makita sets

Just with today's fastest possible connection so many places are still behind in speed. Just with how everything works and runs in this digital era. I would say having an good internet connections is one of the best tools you can have. The access to any diagram or manual in just an few clicks. I'm lucky to only pay 70 and getting an amazing connection.

Their design is to use the back side of the bolt cutting for wire looping. I also got lucky they were on-sale at homedepot for 19.99, regretting not picking up more now

What gauge are you needing to crimp.There are some nice hydraulic crimpers around

Cannot go wrong with them, if you look in the hand tools section there is an thread about crimpers

For crimps connections I would use an stand-alone tool like a ratcheting or klein crimper. I have an video in the forum on their result

Was thinking are doing more with different wire sizes and bolts, but did not have them on hand at the time. Its easier to film an video with examples of the pro and cons then just typing it out.

I use all their skip joint pliers also at work. For electrical I've been enjoying the 6-1 needlenose and their linesman pliers. I have not tried their side cutters yet, but I do own almost every other hand tool they make

I have always tended just to use my Klein crimper, but lately I've been using an ratching crimper by Titan for my basic insulated connections

I would say schooling is great if you can get it. Beside that just knowing the basic concepts of an system or how it works. Then you can figure it out and fix it

Yeah I'm also looking at boiler and chilling certification, but my work is providing it. We have several old style steam boilers and it's getting harder to find good mechanics.
