I was at Home Depot this past week and it seemed as if every hose tethered nailer they had was on sale for the holidays. It made me wonder if they were trying to clear out as much of that that stock before they started pushing the 20v nailer. Just seems odd that they wouldn't stock this item for the holidays because I think it would move pretty well.

I've been using the Franklin Sensor for a few months and while it's more pricey than the ones I've owned previously it's so much better and more reliable. Not only does it tell you when you hit the stud but it gives you the exact width as well. When my wife and I moved to our new house, it was probably the most used tool in my tool box for the first 4 months.

As much of a fanboy as I am for team yellow, I agree with Handyman. I think that Milwaukee R&D spent a bit more time on their tool chest from the pegboard back to the outlet strip on the side. Small gripes I know but it makes me wonder why DeWalt didn't think of them as well.

Dan an Eric just put a review on their Youtube channel if anyone's still interested. Personally, I'm waiting for the finish nailer to be available at HD so I can get them both at the same time.

Saw that this morning too Ford, hopefully that means HD will have them available for purchase soon.

I'd love a cordless brad nailer and trim router as well so I'll jump on that bandwagon. Personally I'd like to see a 20V caulk gun and sander.

I love my wife for many reasons, these are just 3 of the most recent ones. She got me a Late birthday gift but it was well worth the wait. Apparently shopping for me isn't very difficult anymore.

Hate to resurrect this question but does anyone from the inside think we'll see this tool before the holidays? I've got a sizable Home Depot gift card that I would love to burn on this tool. Has anyone seen this in the wild yet?

It's been pretty quiet on the Dewalt front lately, just wondering if there have been any spottings of the finish nailer and mini blower in the wild yet, I haven't been to HD in a few days (very uncharacteristic of me) but didn't see them on my last visit. Also, I remember back during the DeWalt event in May, Dan mentioned this being an amazing year for team yellow...does anyone really feel that way? Just looking to get some opinions.

I was too, I was just saying that I thought the radio and nailer were supposed to be available at the same time but people are reporting seeing the radio but no nailer.

The tough box radio has been spotted in a few HD stores. I thought that these were supposed to be out around the same time but now I'm hearing mid November. Can someone give us anymore clarity?

It's very store specific and extremely YMMV. Just about every Home Depot I've ever been to refuses to price match the Harbor Freight coupon.

Just got an email from Tool Nut regarding the finish nailer and a boatload of new tools available at the mid way point of the month. Looms like the finish nailer, min/max blower, and a few other tools will be available on or around 10/14. Get your excitement going gentlemen and check your emails.
