  1. I wonder how many bolts per cylinder the dodge runs. Ford 6.0's had head gasket issues so in the 6.4, they added more bolts all the way around. Then, there was still too many HG's failing, so in the 6.7, so they added even more bolts. Bill Hewitt over at PowerstrokeHelp.com has engineered custom heads with metal O-rings around each cylinder. Minimizes the combustion from ever even reaching the gasket.
  2. In short, yes. This set is solely a tap set. But what's great about it is its is a drill bit and tap in one tool. Very commonly used by electricians when electrical boxes are stripped out. They can drill the hole bigger, the right size, and then tap new threads.
  3. "For some reason." Lol. 12,000 lb truck, pushing 5-600 HP. I wonder why?
  4. It's not THAT bad. My favorite part is the crazy power they create. I'm pushing 700HP. The look of amazement when I smoke most sports cars.
  5. I did not. Haven't had a lot of time. My DeWalt drill had a similar issue and after picking it up from the RC, it's still doing it.
  6. Also, as stated above, the entire cab comes off. That alone, runs upwards of $2K to lift it.
  7. So on a 6.4L, as well as many other common rail diesels, the fuel system can pressurize to over 20,000 PSI. The 6.4L has pressures up to 26,000 PSI. The new 6.7L can reach 30,000 PSI. The problem is fuel quality and whether or not the owner/driver knows how to recognize it when it happens. When the fuel pump goes, it destroys EVERYTHING down the line. Injectors, supply lines etc. A fuel system repair starts out at about $6K if caught early. Run it for a second too long runs you $7-9K. Run it for 2 seconds too long, new engine. $10-15K depending if the block is ok. The problem isn't the system. In most failures I've seen, it's the fuel and poor maintenance. Insurance usually pays for it if it is determined to be contaminated fuel. You can also go after the station if you have receipts.
  8. These look promising http://dewalt.com/tool-parts/drilling-accessories-tap-and-die-impact-ready-taps-and-dies-.aspx
  9. Fish Stick Wow! 1,000 posts in a thread! That's awesome.
  10. 6.4L Powerstroke Heavily modded. DPF Delete Intake Tuner Pushing the 700HP mark Was up till midnight last night removing the EGR and coolers. Any other Powerstroke owners?
  11. It doesn't look like HD has created a sku for the finish gun yet. Nothing in stores.
  12. Correction, it's actually an attorney page looking to file suit for injuries related to table saws. Now, the owner of Saw Stop is an attorney, I'm wondering where the connection is.
  13. Here is proof positive of how much of an ass he is. https://m.facebook.com/story.php?story_fbid=736683013078361&id=251127164967284&comment_id=740268062719856&ref=m_notif&notif_t=like&actorid=1065824032 On his "sponsored posts," on Facebook, he has done nothing but talk back to anyone that has said anything negative about his system.
  14. Find a DOA battery, gut it and stick the shell in the slot. [emoji15]
  15. Haha. I bet. The plus side is if you're using this for smaller properties, just don't put the extra battery in and save the weight.
  16. Keep in mind, this is their "pro" line of lawn care. Having a few friends that specialize in commercial landscaping & maintenance, the ability to have a backup battery can really extend work time and productivity. Imagine having the maintenance contract on a Kroger or Walmart shopping center and you're across the parking lot when your battery dies. Or have the maintenance contract on the common areas of an entire neighborhood. That could mean a lot of down time and backtracking to get a battery. Just my thoughts.

    TIA love

TIA getting some love from DeWalt.
  18. Maybe AvE will try something like that eventually.
  19. That Milwaukee blower looks surprisingly similar to the DeWalt.
  20. Not that I am aware of. I haven't seen the nailer in their computer. I'll check for you though.
  21. It's a good little saw. I have one. You can modify its little by putting a 3/4 piece of plywood on the bottom and bolting the quick release mounts to it. Then it will mount to all the DeWalt stands.
