  1. So both of mine are type 2. But they both came with the conical filters. But when looking for filters online, the conical filters say for type 1 and cylindrical filters are for type 2.
  2. Usually, they give prototypes to contractors to solve all these issues before the initial release. Kind of disappointing there are so many improvements in a type 1 vs type 2.
  3. Well I'll be damned. I'll have to look when I get back to the shop. The reason I asked us I noticed they have two different filters for them.

    Ladder's

Are the black steps aluminum or fiberglass?
  6. If you watch the black part, you can see that has a wobble in it too. Watch down to the bottom right carefully.
  7. What are the differences and how would I know if mine are Type 1 or Type 2? I have one that's only 4-5 months old and the other is about 16-18 months old.
  8. They are pre-order. There's a Q&A at the bottom. They were supposed to start shipping today. But with my experience with ToolNut, it'll be another 3-4 weeks before they get them to anyone. That's what happened with my drywall gun. The web page even said "In Stock."
  9. They all have a 3 year limited warranty in the states.
  10. My DCD995 started pulsating and shutting down completely if I put any real torque on the drill. Dropped off at service center and he said I'll have it to you in a week. I'll keep you updated as I find out more.
  11. Any update? Both my 102" came with a vertical bow in them so I managed to straighten them out. I cut one of them down to a couple different sizes to allow for more versatility similar to Festool.
  12. If there's a 10" cordless miter in the works, a table saw isn't too far behind.
  13. https://vimeo.com/142575837 Also notice the wobble in the chuck. Can't say whether or not that was from the factory or recently happened.
  14. So I've had my 2703-22 for a few weeks now and have not really had the opportunity to put it through the gauntlet. Minor drilling and driving. Today, I installed three new deadbolts with new security plates. The issue: after driving the big 3" screws for the security plates, the drill was completely unresponsive in between screws a few times. No light or any response from the drill. Full battery charge. Changing from forward to reverse did nothing. The solution was to remove and re-insert the battery and the drill acted as normal. I'm not a Milwaukee guy so I'm not overly familiar with what the problem may have been. Battery or drill related. I didn't really have a lot of time to toy with it. Maybe this weekend I will try to isolate the problem to either the battery or drill.
  15. That's pretty good. My total cost was $296 and some change.
  16. Maybe a cordless roofing gun or even cordless shears.
  17. My local DeWalt Rep for Lowes believes Lowes will start stocking it next month.
  18. You can try to use this to price beat at Home Depot. I was able to get the price beat AND use a Home Depot coupon.
  19. It'll be a little trial and error to get that profile on a router. It will likely be several passes to accomplish the taper/partial ellipse shape. It was definitely done on a larger shaper bit. It would require multiple passes with different height adjustments on a router with a cove bit.
