It's structural as well. Build walls, benches... Anything out of it.

Kerdi is incredible. Worth every penny. Faster to install, easier to work with, less mess and completely water/vapor proof. I've built a cooler out of the stuff and it held water for over a week before I gave up on seeing if it would leak.

Needs this for sure.

Heights aren't all that bad.... Even the fall isn't too scary. What gets ya is the thought of the sudden stop at the bottom. [emoji16]

I wouldn't even consider buying a SAW STOP because the owner/developer is an ass. He patented the technology then began lobbying to make it mandatory that all saws incorporate his technology. All about licensing. He wanted to make a fortune without putting in the time and effort. Rely on congress to do his work for him.

The medical field is scary close to the power tool field. Every Time I grab a tool or organize the garage, my wife says something along the lines of "I use one of those all the time," or "I used that today to drill someone's femur out." I'm like "WTF?"

Yup. Forstner bits. Lots of uses. It can be quite challenging to use in a hand drill as they tend to skip. If you must use in a hand drill, and you have the depth to work with, a pilot hole of the exact same diameter will help with alignment and flatten out the bottom of the hole.

Festool if you want the best. I have the DeWalt cordless and two Rockwell corded ones. They all have their place. I do like the DeWalt the most due to the blade compatibility. Dremel has some great accessories for a OMT.

The best feature of Kobalt is the warranty process. Take it back to Lowes. Problem solved.
