  1. I was eying the new cross line lasers. I really like the idea of the green laser.
  2. All my stores have it too. Only, it's still on the top shelf in boxes marked for "Holiday." I narrowed it down and these boxes are Also marked "put out on 11/2."
  3. I broke down and bought the mini blower today. On my way out the store and realized my 15% off coupon expires tomorrow. It's a pretty sweet little gadget. Even my wife likes it. She wants one to be able to blow off the front porch and back patio. I did have to sneak the ladder over to get it off the top shelf.
  4. Someone needs to get their hands on one and figure out a way to hack the wiring. Make it run on 80v (72 volts). [emoji16]
  5. Unofficially, HD will be beginning to put out the new DeWalt gear Nov 2. Items I know of are: Tough System Clear Top tote Tough System Radio Mini Blower
  6. EXACTLY! Now, I wouldn't be surprised if there is some sort of promo at some point for the 18V owners to get a "free" adapter with some sort of combo purchase. Say.... Two 20V slide packs with an adapter for $129 or something like that.
  7. FREE Rotozips are even better! You using yours a lot Logan?

  9. That's an awesome deal. I bought one last year and had problems with it. Haven't brought myself to buying another one yet.
  10. I figured that out last night by comparing to my other 995. This one definitely clutches out in hammer mode. It will briefly in drill mode only after switching from hammer to drill. So it looks like it's going back to the repair center. Luckily, I have a dozen other ones to choose from in the meantime. [emoji51]

  12. I'm toying with my other 995 right now and it only does it when in a clutched mode. Going back to the original, I'm not seeing it as much. I am seeing it in hammer mode though as if it were clutching out. I'll take them both to work tomorrow and see how they handle. Apparently these brushless drills have an electronic clutch? They both clutch out in the same manor. No more mechanical skipping? On a side note, I never really notice how much torque these things have. If you're not careful and go to tighten the chuck under the power of the motor, that thing can flip right out of your hands on you.
  13. Picked it up today. The pickup slip said "rebuilt motor and replaced trigger." Get it to the truck and the same problem. Or so I thought. Took it back inside and they had a senior tech look at it and he informed me that it is normal on the new brushless as an overload protection? I'll have to run some bits and screws to give it a full test. Can anyone confirm or deny theirs does this? In short, if I use the drill power to tighten the chuck, the motor pulsates after the chuck is snug and shuts off. It does it in various modes, hammer, drill and various clutched settings. Again, I haven't put bits in it to see how that handles.
  14. Does anyone NEED 60% of the stuff we show off? It's a nice novelty to have to go along with my night vision. An auxiliary IR light really helps with zero light situations and long distances.
  15. This is on my wish list currently.
  16. Very nice collections out there. I'm a sucker for multi spectrum lights. I have a couple with WRGB and a couple with IR for use with my night vision
  17. Most blades do fit one way or another. Bosch blades need to be cut to fit the quick change part of the DeWalt OMT I believe.
  18. My experience is to either buy top notch blades like the Bosch or Dremel as stated above, or just find the cheap of the cheap blades like Harbor Freight or some Chinese website and expect to toss them after a few cuts.
  19. So I have been saying construction lasers should use green lasers for at least 5 years since I put a green laser on my rifle. Much easier to see in well lit situations. DeWalt did it. http://youtu.be/R_0HE8KSNoc

    Ladder's

Pardon me for not being a ladder expert. Why couldn't you have fiberglass steps? You could use aluminum for support on the underside. I've seen ladders with plastic steps that have aluminum supports.
  21. I just have the note pad portfolio as well. But I do like that.
  22. Ahhhh, I interpreted your requests/suggestions as a list of improvements for the type 2.
