  1. Chris I greatly appreciate your help here. Thank you for putting this list of tools together, and for the video link. I'm going to continue studying and doing research about becoming a Shipfitter, it sounds like a challenging job that I look forward to doing someday.
  2. Hey Chewie, great Idea! I like how you have the holes laid out on one side. Makes it easy to fit the right size hole for your application, just stick the bolt or dowel in the hole that fits and bam, there's your bit. Kinda reminds me of one of my son's wooden block toys.
  3. Lol I bought the same one too, I think mines an older model though, bought it about 4 years ago but still running strong. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G870A using Tapatalk

  8. I think your making a great choice. In fact, I know your making a great choice because you are far more knowledgeable about tools then me. I only had a foot in the pool with my Dewalt 20v max drills but decided to jump off the cliff into the great red sea of Milwaukee. I'm very happy I did, I've got no regrets. I'll stick with Milwaukee for the cordless tools. For corded, I've always got whatever works best for me. I love my Bosch concrete and woodworking tools. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G870A using Tapatalk
  9. I'm kinda in the same boat as Toronto, I'm more of a corded user. Always was skeptical of cordless tools until I heard about Milwaukee and Makita. I think eventually though, say 20 years from now, cordless tools will take over. We will have nuclear reactor powered DeWalt's and alien technology powered Milwaukee tools. The Bosch wireless charging station will be a wireless generator, able to power all tools on the jobsite with no cords. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G870A using Tapatalk
  10. yesssssss.....come to the dark side (sith voice) here's your new avatar:
  11. Sorry PeteW, I just read this post. I bought the Milwaukee Strippers and they work great. They feel really solid in your hand. I actually smiled after using them to strip some wires because I was so used to using old hand me downs. They can also cut 6-32 and 8-32 screws to length. They can ream conduit and have a nice needle nose plier shape. You should pick them up, you will not be dissappointed
  12. Welcome aboard Jon but I have some bad news. You came to the wrong place to "cure" your Tool fetish, we are all infected and it only gets worse from here bud. lol.
  13. Anything by Larry Haun is pretty good. He also has some old videos to learn from

  16. Welcome to the crew man! Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G870A using Tapatalk
  17. I think it usually goes for $399, at $329 you'd be saving around $70. If saving $10 on a tool is good, saving $70 is freakin awesome Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G870A using Tapatalk
  18. Wow you guys really know your stuff. I'm probably talking out of my butt here but I wonder if it would be possible to make a cordless tool adapter that would allow a cordless tool to plug in through an extension cord. Just a random thought I had Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G870A using Tapatalk
  19. Yeah I wish they would make them smaller. They are fairly large considering that they are 12v tools. Hopefully we will see some smaller m12 drills come August Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G870A using Tapatalk
  20. Thank you Eric, I hope this helps someone [emoji1] Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G870A using Tapatalk
