  1. I'm getting excited for the arrival of my new saw! But, I have a question. Why don't we get these awesome all-black cases here in the US? And what country gets these?
  2. Just ordered the 2720-21 with a free 4.0 xc battery! It should be here early next week. Man, I can't wait to pop a blade in that sucker and start the destruction!!!
  3. Heck Yeah! Question is, do you need two? Either way, if you like the grinder, it's a hard deal to pass up!
  4. I could do with a dozen or two new Friday Night Tool Fights.
  5. Little late to the dance. I'll second Protoolnut, others have better advice than I do. Still, I've said it before, that M12 Fuel impact is incredibly well designed. I've played around with it quite a bit, and am looking forward to getting one myself. As for the screwdriver, I must admit great curiosity. Looks pretty useful, if not a tad redundant, though being able to switch over without changing the clutch is nice. Either way, with a free hackzall, how can you go wrong?
  6. If you're going to do internet only, check your internet speed. As well, think about going only wireless, and upgrade to a wireless ac router. Wireless "TV" internet opens up a world of opportunities for living organization.
  7. M18 Fuel or M18 Standard. All the bigger online merchants have it right now. Of course, HD should match it, with some effort on your part.
  8. I've had a computer hooked up to my tv for going on 5 years now. No cable, just 40$ a month and all the commercial free trash I could want. Plus, my wife loves shopping from the big screen. I figure we've saved 5k-10k easily by now.
  9. Welcome. And remember, "measure twice, cut once." Visualizing and planning is the key to well executed project. Otherwise, sky's the limit. You have liberated yourself to be free to build anything.
  10. Many online dealers have a buy a kit get a battery free. M18 gets a 3.0 XC. Fuel gets a 4.0 XC. CPO throws in a flashlight as well as the battery if you buy a fuel kit. As for bare tools, I'm waiting for that as well. There was a buy two bare tools get a battery free last month. There's no telling whats coming up as Milwaukee's putting out a new generation of tools in a month.

    Just Started

What is the M18 tool in the back top right? I want to say jig saw, but its shape isn't that distinguishable.
  12. Ooooh... both are sexy tools. Man, the wish list. Well, there's the Must Have Wish List and the I Want Wish List. My must have #1 is the Fuel Sawzall. The Fuel Paddle Grinder is #2. And some of the M12 impacts and wrenches make up the next few. My want wishlist (after rolling 4x8 doors on my small shop) is a pro-table saw. Then a full router table setup. Ugh... the list is too long.
  13. I'm about to buy two tools in a battery line I own a few tools and a couple of batteries in. I'm trying to decide if I should buy two bare tools, or a (1 battery) kit and a bare tool. There is a promo bonus battery for a kit purchase (making it 2 batteries in all), so there is that temptation. I do like the cases, but I'm not overly worried about having them (can get them on the cheap from Amazon if needed). And an extra charger is a take it or leave it. Basically, I could go either way right now. So, wondering what the thoughts are--when you'd buy one over the other and why? The tools are the Fuel Paddle Grinder and the Fuel Sawzall. But this should hardly inform the rationale. Thanks for your words, Guys!
  14. I'll take a look see, give some words out, and let you know. I'm with you. I think they should be selling these things. That's how I got it, by saying I would pay for it. Sweet I didn't have to.
  15. Just curious if anyone has any experience shooting brads with the Milwaukee stapler. None of the reviews of the stapler even mention shooting any of the brads--depth, applications. Any experience? Any thoughts?
  16. Awesome! How did you win? Any idea what they're sending?
  17. Just do it. It's a matter of shortcuts. Google's made it pretty easy to remember. Some example shortcuts: t = tape measure r = rectangle L = line c =circle and you can type in dimensions for each after you start the shape. Give it a shot, play with it, it's easy. And free! And if you need any hints, hit me up.
  18. No, didn't attend. Just made a friend who understands the RED addiction. It's nothing great and big, it has no data on it, it's just some sweet, sweet Milwaukee paraphernalia. I'm gonna use it for my CAD and Sketch-Up remodeling and design drawings.
  19. Not really a tool per se, but I got this in the mail today. Just thought I'd share. Goes to show how awesome TEAM RED is!!!
  20. Used email for warranty. Replaced my Fastback II, no questions asked, in less than a week! That's service!
  21. It certainly is a sweet knife. I've got two now, as I had to call in the warranty cause the blade kept pulling out on me during hard work on the first one. I hope the new one, just received, doesn't have the same problem. I marked the faulty one and use it for light work only. That's why I BUY MILWAUKEE because of the WARRANTY. They replaced it in less than two weeks!!! Sweet knife to be sure!!!!
  22. Yeah, I tend to lean towards klein when they have the tool I need. Exceptional stuff. And a design in sharp contrast to the Ferrari-beast design of the Fuel series.

    Pic Of The Day

Oh man, oh man... that picture gets me ripe for the Fuel Grinder! I should be getting one here in the next few weeks--fingers crossed. I have to say that is the best picture i've seen of it as well. The detail, the angle, and the proportions give a great idea of the monster in action.
  24. That looks awesome, RG! Did it in mine not long ago. Gotta saw the slab up to get the pan/liner in if it's not an existing shower. We went doorless, so our pitch may be different. Of course, there could be other routes to get the job done.
  25. Stella for the faint hint of sweet honey taste. Reminds me of my Granddad. He was a beekeeper.
