  1. Does anyone have a model number for this little guy yet? I was just doing some searching for it and only the existing bluetooth radio is coming up.
  2. I just rolled the dice on some Ebay batteries too. Two genuine Makita BL1850-B for ~$80 a piece, so I guess we will see. I looked at the sellers feedback and he had a few good comments about the batteries he was selling so I felt good about it.
  3. Hey guys Im searching for the Makita 197252-3 track adapter here in the states. I see it is available through Atlas in Canada but I can't find it anywhere else. Does anyone know if its available here? Have any of you guys from else where used it? Thoughts on it? Thanks!
  4. Yea my guess is its a 12v pack. They look taller because they are shorter.
  5. Nope, it doesn't charge when plugged in.
  6. Would love to see a side by side shot of it with the dt148. I love how small that one is, so Id like to see a size comparison.
  7. I have the same little guy that I keep a round over bit in. In fact, just used it today on a quick project.
  8. I read about this being available else where, first Ive seen of it in the states though.
  9. Yea, we get together and talk about how we better buy something before the increase, because... if you buy now its like its on SALE! Here, take my money!
  10. I didn't think the price on the light was too bad and Ive been quite pleased with it. I don't have the tripod though.
  11. Bumping this thread. How has the trimmer been holding up for you guys? Thinking about picking this and the blower up now that spring is coming.
  12. It looks like they are giving away the BL1840, must be trying to clear out the leftover 4.0 non gauge batteries?

    Maktia vacuum pump

When I saw the thread title I thought this was going to be a Vacuum clamp, like what Festool just announced. Interesting little pump non the less though.
  14. Anyone putting this tool through the paces now that its been out a while? I don't do a lot of drywall, but do enough small patch jobs that Ive almost grabbed it several times now. It would be nice to just use it and not have to pull out the corded Dewalt.
  15. I think what regopit is alluding to is that the Festool bags and filters are expensive enough that, for some of us anyway, its better to keep the CTs as dedicated dust extractors for your tools and run a cheaper vacuum for general clean up tasks. I have a midi, that I use mostly for attaching to my sanders. Ill vacuum up carpet after I pickup my drops or little stuff like that with it but if Im going to be cleaning up a flooded basement or cleaning up after cutting in an egress window then Ill pull out a a shop vac that I don't care as much about.
  16. Clean looking setup! What van do you have? Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  17. I'm beginning to think I have an obsession with vacuums... I hope we see this guy in the states sometime soon. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  18. Do you mean like a life meter/odometer of the battery? I don't think Makita is adding any electronics capable of that to these new batteries.
  19. Hmm, I thought I had updated this thread? Anyhow, I got my order in! The light is great, though I really haven't gotten to use it yet as Ive got an exterior job going. So Ill give a better update once I actually get to use it. The little LXOBO1 sander though... it is freaking awesome! Im loving it! Ill do a separate post on it, since Ive been using it for the last several days. And of course Thanks Bishop tools for the good prices and fast delivery!
  20. Can anyone tell what its max cutting capacity against the fence is? Is it only 2 1/16?
  21. It is a love/hate relationship. When it works it is fantastic, the idea of it is fantastic, however in practice it is... not fantastic. I really wish Graco would team up with ANY other tool company with a well established cordless line. Because its biggest down fall is the batteries. They are only 2.4Ah packs that are the same size as all the other companies 5.0Ah packs and in the three years Ive owned it Ive killed two batteries. Oh yea and theyre $100 a pop and so far Ive gotten no warranty support. The sprayer really needs to be babied along, at times it wont spray, it just "stalls out" as if the batteries don't have enough "umph" to get the motor started, but it will prime itself so with a certain degree of trickery I can usually get it to come back on and finish out spraying. It is without a doubt my most babied tool as well, I treat the thing like gold. The Good side of it is, it is convenient. If you've got less than a gallon to spray, then the Proshot is the fastest/easiest way to do it. I certainly would not suggest it as your only sprayer, I own three other sprayers so the Proshot only sees limited/specialized use. So like a said, it is without a doubt my favorite piece of S**T tool I own! It could be so good...
  22. Thanks for looking at that bishop. I'll update you guys when I can get my hands on them.
  23. Thanks NER, I could have swore I looked at Bishoptools ebay page earlier and saw a higher price. I would much rather order from them than some other website Ive never heard of. So, I grabbed the light (along with the lxt palm sander Ive been wanting) from them as I do appreciate vendors who support the forums!
  24. This was my tool of the day yesterday! Finishing up an exterior and had to shoot two doors and two shutters, the perfect proshot project.
  25. Thanks for the replies guys, I think Ill go ahead and grab one to compare to my other favorite lights. The pricing on them seems to very considerably! There is a shop that has them for $105, then others have them for 160? .
