  1. I can't complain much about my job per say, but my employer has a bit of a reputation for hiring shotty outside contractors again and again for renovation projects. We are replacing heaters in this building and they hired a flooring contractor to patch where the old heaters were, as the new heaters are a different size and do not touch the floor. This is an example of this contractors handy work. . . I'm not sure if these guys are trying to do a shitty job or if they are just stupid. One thing i do know is the only tool they brought to the job is glue! And they used tons of it. Sent from my SGH-T999L using Tapatalk
  2. I am young and have only started my tool hoarding I mean collection. My wish list is to long to type but I would have to say that a tool chest has been on my mind for a while now and i think the best way to start a collection would be with a place to store it all. I hear good things about HF chests and with my budget that's probably what I will get someday. .. money is no object I would get the Milwaukee chest. I love the Matt finish Sent from my SGH-T999L using Tapatalk
  3. I never actually checked if there is a replaceable fuse though, is that a thing on charges? Sent from my SGH-T999L using Tapatalk
  4. I'd imagine I can probably take it to homedepot as well. I have a second charger and I'm not sure I ever used this one before, it probably never worked Sent from my SGH-T999L using Tapatalk
  5. Hahaha like I said. ... the grass is always greener on the other side Sent from my SGH-T999L using Tapatalk
  6. Neat trick, I have never seen that one before. Seems like the traditional dowel method would be more consistent and less prone to error Sent from my SGH-T999L using Tapatalk
  7. Wow that is an impressive "start" You have me drooling over here Sent from my SGH-T999L using Tapatalk
  8. I have a m12 charger that the lights won't even turn on when i put a battery on it. I don't think it is working at all. It's practically new Sent from my SGH-T999L using Tapatalk
  9. The European market gets some pretty nice cars too. Although i believe the focus RS is making its way to America soon. I guess this is a case of "the grass always being greener" I would imagine if you get in the companies head, they are probably testing specific products in their ideal market. UK might have a higher demand for masonry tools (I think they build with block a lot?) So they might see the most innovative tools of that kind because a company can be sure that the product has the best chance for success there. Sent from my SGH-T999L using Tapatalk
  10. Yeah that's actually not a bad price. .. I unfortunately have no Bosch batteries Sent from my SGH-T999L using Tapatalk
  11. Little disclaimer, I have only used the drill with a 1/4" bit for nail anchors so i cannot speak to the performance with larger bits Sent from my SGH-T999L using Tapatalk
  12. I never used a hammer drill before a few weeks ago so idon't have much to compare to. like I said i had started with a combo drill with a standard Chuck with chuck key. This thing with a good bit is almost completely effortless, you can hardly feel the hammering action and the battery seems to last quite a while as well. with a New bit It digs like drilling foam Sent from my SGH-T999L using Tapatalk
  13. I had posted this somewhere else but this is the drill I'm using. .. not a fuel but still works beautifully. It can do standard drilling too. Sent from my SGH-T999L using Tapatalk
  14. Yes you want one with the hammer drill Chuck. .. I have been drilling block for the past few weeks at work and i had started with a hammer drill with a standard Chuck and it wasn't much fun. Now I'm using a Milwaukee hammer drill with the quick change Chuck and you can't even feel the hammering action. ... it just digs Sent from my SGH-T999L using Tapatalk
  15. New toy at work. I was using a makita hammer drill with a standard Chuck before i got this baby and i must say it is a completely different beast. Eats cinderblock for breakfast lunch and dinner. Sent from my SGH-T999L using Tapatalk
  16. That ship has sailed hahaha. I cut the pipe and slapped it on there! Oh well. .only temporary until the new fixtures go in. The main is shut off now anyway sense i ran into yet another valve that leaks. Why can't every valve be a ball valve? Oh wait they will beSent from my SGH-T999L using Tapatalk
  17. He bashes on all tools lol But he actually finds a lot of good things too. I think he does a good job revealing what corners are cut Sent from my SGH-T999L using Tapatalk
  18. PEX in general is a huge time saver! Sense i have to replace every valve in my house with ball valves I am considering just replacing everything with PEX. I have access to the tool from work and I am replacing all the fixtures in the house anyway so it seems like it might be the best option. Drop ceiling in the basement. 19. I figured you guys might appreciate this type of video. The inner workings of power tools, a different perspective. https://youtu.be/lVotpGZHI8U Sent from my SGH-T999L using Tapatalk
  20. I didn't know that. .. can they be reused? Sent from my SGH-T999L using Tapatalk
  21. Found this today at homedepot... Only $1.19/sf! Seems pretty solid and can be grouted which i like Sent from my SGH-T999L using Tapatalk
  22. Yeah they are definitely quick when you have water in the pipe. On a side note I did manage to make it out of homedepot today without buying a tool. I realized after though that I should have bought a more compact pipe cutter, so I'm not really sure if I can call resisting the urge to buy a tool today a success or a failure... 23. $15 later... does anyone use these? I ran into a bad shut off valve while demoing my bathroom and needed something quick. Sent from my SGH-T999L using Tapatalk
  24. Does anyone have an opinion on Makitas radio? I heard it on a job site a while back and it seemed to kick pretty good. Although this was over a year ago and the room had decent acoustics so my memory of its sound could be a bit foggy. .. opinions? Sent from my SGH-T999L using Tapatalk
  25. Any truth to the rumors that milwaukee and Ryobi share internals? I have always dismissed this but I have heard it a few times from various people. Sent from my SGH-T999L using Tapatalk
