I save and pay cash when i'm ready.
In my mid 20's I was irresponsible with the use of CC's and quickly got in over my head. My wife and I pretty much have sworn them off and hardly ever use the one's that we do have.
My biggest issue now is going through the posts and determining all the goodies being a Need or a Want.
Seriously, you guys are like crack dealers.

I second the cordless sawzall option as well. I had the same issue at my house, I have some snowmobile trails on my property and I need to clear out the overgrowth and brush every year. The chainsaw would have been a nice option, but it has limited use once you're done. Where as a cordless recip/sawzall can be used for this task as well as other projects,
I picked up the Porter and Cable unit with a 4.0 battery along with a long pruning blade and it works out great.
Here's a review I did of it.

Congrats on the meter. It's nice to be nominated, but it's a lot better when you win!

Oh ya, it would be great to have those in every room! What is that beautiful USB device you have plugged in thats all blue?
That's a blue tooth speaker. I use it all of the time when working around the house. I stream Pandora through it.

I'm in the process of painting the kitchen and decided to change the outlets and faceplates from almond to white to match the trim. So off to Home Depot I went. While I was looking at outlets I came across a Leviton USB / Receptacle. What a great idea, you don't need to worry about the dozens of chargers that you have for all of the different devices. Just plug the cable into the outlet and your done. I think I'm going to go grab a couple more of them now.

No doubt on the TIA tagging. I have some stickers I can gladly put on. I need to get out and clean the garage.. It looks like a bomb went off in it.

Went on a mission this morning to visit 3 stores with hopes of finding one. I lucked out and found a store in Enfield CT that had 10 of them still in the shrink wrap on top of the steel racks. Had to wait about 20 min for the staff to clear out the aisle and pull it down but it was worth it.
I can't believe how quiet it is in comparison.

Exactly. When I grab a pair in my hand and seek to put it to use, I watch it turn into a sword forged in the fires of Greece in my mind as I fear that I'll accidentally forget I don't have the pulsing blood of Leonidas... and kick random people over parking curbs while screaming SPARTAAAAAAA!!!
lol, That's awesome!

Go to HD and check the computer, some stores have pallets of them some have none. Still at $100. I picked one up this past Sunday, shockingly quiet.
How do you do that?

I would love to get a Rolair, but the only problem is that I'm limited to HD for options. My stepson gave me a $250 gift card for Christmas.
I would mainly using the compressor for small jobs. Doing trim in the house and small projects in the garage. I'm actually considering selling the big vertical compressor since I never really use it anymore since I've switched over to battery powered impacts and wrenches.

I'm in the market for a small compressor. I currently have a 35 gallon Oil free vertical that will make you deaf when it's running and a 5 gallon pancake compressor that make you semi-deaf when it's running.
I'm going to replace the pancake compressor and I've been looking at some of the the smaller units and I was going to pick up the Husky Silent Flow, but it looks like that has gone EOL and is no longer listed on HD's site.
So I've been considering the following anyone have experience with any of them? Main goal is too have something that's quiet and good portability.

I just sold my 26 gallon vertical compressor after 5 years since I never used it. Everything I do, I can get by with cordless.
