The saw does have a smaller cut capacity than the 779 but as long as the pieces you are cuttings aren't tall, you are probably fine.

No. I didn't need to send them in. There is nothing wrong with the tools. I attempted to register for LSA online. They reviewed my submission and came back and said some were approved. Others weren't. The ones that were not approved required me to mail in the original receipt. Then they'll get back to me.

I have had some random bump backs in the last couple months. It's really irritating. One that really gets me is 1 of 3 on the same receipt got bumped back. I bought a jobmax, a battery/charger and rotating tool attachment. The jobmax battery and charger got approved but the attachment didn't. I hope printed copies of email copies of receipts are good enough.

I Got that Bosch in January when it first came down to $119. Great kit. Lots of sandpaper. I already had a couple dremel omts and the Milwaukee m12 version. The Bosch is great. It has great power and a long cord which is helpful. That dremel multi knife comes the the dremel 13 (?) piece accessory kit the put out around Christmas at Home Depot. It should be down to $29 still if your local store has it. The knife is not in the 9 pc accessory kit that also costs $29 at Home Depot.

The Bosch was $119 on Amazon and Home Depot today.

I went ahead and picked up the 709. Figured it would be better than the skil saw I had. The skil didn't slide but at least it had a laser that was pretty accurate, but It'll do until I get enough saved up for a nicer model.

That wasn't my experience at all. I had a battery from a nailer die. I went to the tool rental counter. They checked the battery was indeed dead. I had the nailer and charger with me. They confirmed the battery was registered and called in the replacement. They sent me a replacement in the mail which showed up the next week. I called and registered the replacement. Seemed easy to me.

The ridgid brushless hammer drill and brushed gen5x combo kit are excellent. And the first "random bit" is a dremel mm45 3.5 amp multi max with a quick change lever. I own all of these so I can't take advantage. But they are all quality tools at a great price.

the old 18v nailer is very picky. I rarely use it. The new brushless set looks very tempting.

I think this is a good deal. If you are in for the batteries lowes still has two 3 Ah batteries for 79.

The H&K axis and axis mini (though closer to $100) is a great folder. D2 steel, g10 handles and pillar construction for easy cleaning is great.

I have the ridgid 12v drill and impact so this is a strong maybe.

I bought a used one and still don't feel comfortable carrying one.
