    Give away week

I'm a winner! Tape measure headed my way Shuutr pronounce shooter but I guess that's not obvious to people that aren't in my head.
  5. I wanted to get a couple batteries for my 18v Ridgid stuff (fan, radio, drills, drivers, circ saw, recipe saw) and for $50 more than I was going to spend I upgraded a couple of my collection and I got this Brushless set: Already used the compact drill, very nice.

Home Depot is dropping prices on special buys. I just picked up the ridgid brushless hammer drill and circ saw plus two batteries for $149 It was $179 a couple weeks ago and $159 last week.
  7. that doesn't sound right. With the holiday deal it was buy the bottom and middle get the top free for $99 total. $59, $39, $29 individual.
  8. Since knives are included in this thread, I thought I'd bring up a new release. I am a huge fan of the Benchmade Griptilian. I have purchased no less than 25 full size and mini griptilians. If you have ever held one you are probably aware of their major flaw. The handles are nylon. They feel cheap and hollow and don't feel like they justify the $100+ MSRP they ask for them at Cabelas. The ones I still own are all customized with custom scales made of aluminum or G10. A mini grip with G10 scales and barrel standoffs make a great $80 knife. The problem is you have to spend $140 to make the knife perfect. Well I was excited that there was a rumor that Benchmade finally got off their butts and are releasing a G10 scaled Griptilian. Here is the problem. The G10 version comes with a $225 price tag. The steel they are including is CPM 20CV (not found on the rest of their griptilian lineup like 154CM, D2, S30V or even N680), and that may drive the price up. There is no way on this world or any other I am paying $225 for a griptilian. Nope. Not gonna happen. http://www.benchmade.com/griptilian-family.html
  9. I need to brush up my resume
  10. They probably will soon. Their old line is down to $199.
  11. I have something I ordered online that I need to return Monday. I have a feeling I'll spend more than the return is going to net me.
  12. That's a nice kit. Very organized.
  13. Hard to argue with a lot. Most of my 18v tools are ridgid or Bosch. Ridgid isn't the best at much and I'm sure Bosch was a close second or third in some of these.
  14. Love my m12 fuel hammer drill. It is a little big for a 12v tool but I won't complain.

The 15 pc bimetal hole saw kit for $32. It was $40 and they put this out each year for the holidays. The 13pc kit that you usually see on the racks is $80. http://m.homedepot.com/p/Milwaukee-Metal-Hole-Saw-Kit-15-Piece-49-22-4027/206167001
  16. Milwaukee hole saw set and some bungee cords. I wanted so much more, but didn't pull the trigger.
  17. Yeah, there are some good deals. There isn't anything I can't live without. I got a new set of 18v tools this year so I'm pretty good on the best deals. I may wait till February/March to see if any of these special buys go on clearance. If anything I may pick up a battery two-pack.
  18. I don't have a link for the email, but I can post screen grabs in a sec
