Personally, I'd rip that suckers outta the ground, roll it all up and leave it in the back yard. I would then put up my own, more pretty, fence when funds allowed such a thing. And of course, I would keep that text message for my records.
I use Tekton socket rails personally... http://www.amazon.com/TEKTON-1882-8-Inch-Socket-Organizer/dp/B008TM15LY I would probably use the Hansen trays if they weren't so pricey!
Here are the tools I had sitting under the tree for Christmas! - Bosch L-Boxx3 - Tekton 1/2" Drive Torque Wrench - Ridgid 12" Aluminum Pipe Wrench - Fatmax 8m/26' Tape Measure
Jimbo!!! Nice!! Taking home the big prize for the day! Congrats man...you deserve it. And congratulations to all the other winners as well! I thought for sure they would be giving away one of those Big Ass Lights though?? Lol
Welcome to the forum! Definitely get into the trades if you can. Lots of good skills to be learned and the money ain't bad either! I'm a Journeyman Floor Coverer myself.
Congratulations on the pliers BMack! I think you're the only name I recognized! But congratulations to all the other winners too! Can you only win once? Or can you win on another day too?
I posted the same question on another forum I frequent.. I was told to remove the tabs on the hot side (brass) from all of the receptacles (with the red wire) in the same circuit. That fixed it! Both outlets worked in my previous set up, they just wouldn't operate by switch.
I am in the process of switching all the outlets in my house from almond to white. But two of them won't work using a switch anymore. I reinstalled them exactly how they were wired before but nothing. Can anyone tell me what I am doing wrong. The wiring is as follows: Black to top right brass screw Red to bottom right brass screw ^brass tab removed in between the two^ White to bottom left silver screw Nothing to top left silver screw ^brass tab intact^ Ground to bottom left green screw It should be noted I'd like the bottom outlet operated by switch and the top continuously on.
