    Too funny!

So true! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  4. Pretty much. The Husky Pro stuff is way heavier nylon with better zippers. You have to give them credit though. Milwaukee gave away so much stuff and flooded the market. Now they are one of the most expensive brands. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. If you have a musty basement, there isn’t much you can do for the smell if there is a moisture issue. You have to find and fix the problem. Masking it doesn’t solve it. I had issues as well, turned out that the basement wasn’t insulated properly and the insulation was retaining some moisture. We had to seal the concrete and re-insulate. We also found a drain that was tied into the weeping tile was also smelling. It was pretty damp/wet and had holes in the top. Sealed that up too. Musty smell gone! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  6. It’s almost like they are seeing how much they can get away with charging. I think we will see a dramatic price reduction if people are smart and wait. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  7. I only use Hilti and spend a great deal of my time drilling concrete. Don’t waste your time with anything other than the TE-CX. The carbide tip is perfect for chewing rebar. The only thing that will ruin your bit is applying too much pressure while drilling the rebar. If the blades blue or burn, you won’t get warranty. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  8. I am buying one ASAP. That thing would have been awesome for the Tapcons was installing all day. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  9. It’s a subcompact rotary hammer. If you buy it expecting to abuse it like a full size tool, or have it perform like one, you are gonna be disappointed. That’s not what it’s for. It supposed to be compact and lightweight.... Hence the tiny tool and small batteries. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  10. Seems to be an Android App issue, iPhone app is working. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  11. It’s just odd. The potential is there, the design is decent. They are just flimsy, and can’t even hold their shape. Full of tools, it will be worse. The zipper area folds in on itself and you have to “pop” it back out when you want to zip open or closed. The material is very soft and the bags just don’t hold their shape. $200 CND for the new large bag. I paid $60 more for my Veto. It’s Heavier material , maintains its shape no matter what, beefier zippers, hardcore metal d rings, thicker bottom, and better straps. The straps on the Milwaukee are fine for quick trips, but they are thin and offer little padding. If the bag was $129-149 CND, it would be worth it. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  13. Got to play wth the pack out stuff today. The totes were a bit of a letdown. They are a bit overpriced for what you get. They are very similar to the Husky Pro bags. Decent weight nylon and stitching. It wouldn’t be fair to slam it because it isn’t as good as a Veto. It sits between the Husky Pro and Veto line. The bottoms were pretty good too. Better than the Klein plastic bottoms but nowhere near Veto level. The parts/storage packouts are great, but a little pricy. I still think the parts containers are the best. I don’t like that the tool container footprints are so big, but the interior room isn’t much bigger than the Tough/Ridgid boxes. They are crazy heavy too. I also got a good look at the two new backpacks. Holy crap are they over priced. Huge letdown. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  16. The Vanity design and colour scheme is one of the biggest hurdles for me(aside from the ridiculous pricing). They are ugly. The metal bumpers are just odd too. We get it, they want people to notice and recognize the brand. But jeez, they stick out like a sore thumb. The footprint is huge, the design is awkward, the usable space inside is far less than they appear to have and the they are ugly. Imagine if the tough system was yellow! They nailed the organizers though. I love the 2 sizes and the clip on to Tote idea. If this is their first stab at a modular system, I can’t wait to see the second generation, which keepin to true Milwaukee form should be out in 6 months and have One-Key. 17. I really liked the weight of the TStak, the problem is that nothing bigger than a drill will fit in them! That’s the biggest issue I have with most modular systems, they weigh as much as the tools! Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  18. Scotch Brite green scrub pad and wd40. It works on all my black tools. Recommended by Klein! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  20. I think we are having a slight communication problem. When I say “pushing into” or “leaning into” a tool, I mean exactly that, a literal definition. Pushing on/into the tool so hard that you are stressing the tool. That will cause overheating and premature wear on bearings, gears etc, and run your battery down faster. It also causes premature wear on Bits and Blades. You would be surprised just how many guys misuse tools this way. I have had the same unibit for 6 years. My coworker goes through one a year. Same bit, but one of use pushes on his drill so hard he grunts and sweats. I tell him to let the drill do the work, he pushes harder on the poor thing. I put my tools through a lot in a day, I “push” them in the figurative sense that I expect a full day of solid work from them. I spent all day drilling concrete and running pipe, my Impact and Rotary hammer are my two most used tools. Drill and Recip are a close second! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  21. When I am blasting holes in concrete, chipping or coring, the 5.0’s work great. If I am doing anything bigger than a 1” hole/ 3 1/2” core, I grab an sds max. I don’t lean into the tool. Too many guys are clueless about proper tool operation. You see them pushing into the tool with everything they’ve got. It’s no wonder their tools don’t last or overheat. 23. You have stumbled onto “Big Lumber’s” secret plan to slowly tilt the world by 10 degrees... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  24. There is no comparison between Ergodyne and Veto. Ergodyne was one of the first tough bags, but they haven’t really kept up. Veto is expensive, but no one makes a bag as tough as they do. I have had em all! Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  25. Am I the only one who doesn’t want big ass bricks on the bottom of my tools? Flexvolt looks ridiculously stupid. Certain tools need to be compact. I love my 18x2 chainsaw and Rotary Hammer. I love my impact even more, BECAUSE it’s compact. 15 more minutes of runtime isn’t worth the bulk to me. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
