Yeah, if you don't want to damage something you really have to have a light touch...almost wish they made one with the notch but with less sharp teeth. I know a couple of Japanese companies make them so I may give one of those a try, could be less sharp. I'll let you know if it's good enough for me to spend your money :P

What's funny is some of the reviews claim the opposite...I think they're just idiots or trolls because these things basically ruin anything they touch because they're soo damn sharp and strong.

    haha, another great use!

Still rotating, lost almost a month of time with my foot/ankle problems. Right now I have a Toptul bit which I don't like as much as the Bluepoint(very similar bit styles). I haven't even tried the PB Swiss bits yet.

Dang dude, just got off of work and have to say I have some legit respect for that wrench collection and setup. I'd love to get my hands on some of those CMan midget wrenches. Almost remind me of Ignition wrenches.

They're still available near me, about $20-25 but still made in the USA. The new packaging is the same size pouch but solid gray/black back panel with a clear front. They're in the aisle where the wrenches are but are on a peg. I actually got two sets of these last year, very useful imo...perfect wrenches if you have hex bolstered screwdrivers(You'll need a normal sized wrench for a PH3-sized screwdrivers).

Pro tip: If you go to Sears, you can easily spot the made in USA wrenches. They have a sticker and no tag, made in China has a tag but no sticker.

I like to differently it's great for low torque situations but it can drive 2" screws in pine no problem. It's not as powerful as your impact or drill but it's awesome for more finesse work, great little screw gun.

That's impressive! I didn't realize it had some power to it. Does the quick release hold 1" bits or does it need the larger bits with the groove lock?

I would remove the trim, cut out 1" above and below crack replace with new wood, (glue and screw) paint to match cut out plate holes put trim back on. pocket holes and screws are your friend they will be hidden with the trim

This is what I was pretty much going to say. I've had to do it at home before.

If you really don't care and just want it done for their sale and have it break after a year of door slamming, you could probably fill it...but you might blow it out when you put screws in it unless you're really careful. Also you have to sand it smooth and clean up all that dust...It's just not that much more work to replace with wood and it's the proper fix. Just my opinion.

Have I mentioned how nice the Knipex cable sheer I have is? Pretty much a must have, what happens if you're adult knapped and they tie you up with cables and you have a cheap cable sheer? Probably sold off to slavery on a Somali pirate ship.

  8. Check the computer, just type in "ego" on the price check app. It took me 15 mins to even find the Ego trimmer at one of my HD's, it was in top stock over the chainsaws because that makes sense apparently.

Funny you brought this up I was thinking about a video for these.

If you do, you may want to point out the ability for these to hold round objects really well. I use these often to pull out capacitors that I can't get my fingers around because of clearance or if they're glued in.

I like that you're getting into doing these videos and covering a good variety. It's a nice addition to what Dan and Eric provide.

The only thing I don't like it I had pockets in the craftsman bag.

Yeah, I think only the large Milwaukee bag has pockets. Next time you're in HF, check out their bags...pretty nice, nicer than the Craftsman bags IMO. I think one is on sale for $7 this weekend, but not 100% sure. The HF bags have internal and external pockets.

It fits one way! And usually I dig through it and get it to close, I used to have a smaller bag, the zipper broke so I got this one and managed to fill it up fairly quick!

I really like those Milwaukee bags, they're tough guys so I don't think you'll be breaking that zipper! In fact, I've bought two Milwaukee bags in the past week! Might have to steal this idea because right now I'm using them for tools.

  12. Saw someone on another forum ask about these pliers, and I still love mine...so bumping this up for anyone that haven't seen this incredibly useful tool.

Not all of the Engineer tools are winners. I bought the Engineer PZ-01 Ring Pliers and they simply don't work because the jaws are too thick to fit under the clips, still good quality but not...uh...engineered well. So don't buy these: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000TGHOAE
