  1. @KC_Tool I noticed that in Europe some of the tool kits sold are offered in L-boxxes or systainers, instead of just a regular tool box of some sort. Would it be worth your time to set up a special order page on your site to test the interest level on these tool sets, or are they not available for shipping to North America from the manufacturers?
  2. I think I have a Doors album on vinyl around here somewhere...
  3. @KnarlyCarl Price point is a bit high for me... but it would sure beat the crap out of hauling my three hundred pound engine hoist around for moving equipment.
  4. I guess the metaphysical just doesn't pique our libido like videos such as this one...
  5. The numbers from the second site match the maximum download rate that Steam feeds me, as well as any other direct feed I have tried. Also the percentages of feed rate are identical on two different speed plans I have had with Comcast at this location. If you run speedtest.com, Comcast will open up the pipe while shutting down all other incoming feeds and give a rate that they have literally fabricated due to the code in their web system. When the test is over, the datarates on "all" of the incomming feeds will return to the lower numbers in total. If you are using the test link on Comcasts site, YOU ARE BEING LIED TO. This is of course, my personal opinion.
  6. Close, but no cookie...
  7. Or in other words, belt tension gauge. The Porsche model 944 has some insane general maintenance requirements. The timing belt requires tensioning about every three thousand miles after the initial routine, and if I recall correctly, it needs to be replaced every 15k miles. It is also used on some of the older serpentine drive belts in other models. Bonus points for anyone who can tell how it is calibrated...
  8. Not used on the brake system... More of an up front item.
  9. Nothing to do with valves or springs. Not generally used on newer models. More of a vintage model tool.
  10. Has nothing to do with vacuum or air pressure.
  11. Nope... More of a general maintenance tool.
  12. Automotive tool... This one shouldn't be too difficult.
  13. @Theultimatehic Cleat installation tool... That's more of a commercial application though, isn't it?
  14. @KnarlyCarl Not at the same time, unless you want to get a tool for each size tube.
  15. I am somewhat surprised that I haven't seen any aftermarket saw bases to mod a saw for use on a track. I have been thinking of making something up from a piece of Corian that I could fasten onto one of my saws, but as I do not currently have any tracks to work with, and the tool budget is pretty much shot, it will have to wait awhile.
  16. I have a Bosch door template set with extensions and an extra template. I also keep a small trim router dedicated to that setup. It takes the guess work out of hanging multiple doors when doing remodel or hanging custom doors. If you plan on hanging a large number of doors in your future, I would highly recommend picking up some sort of template set. If you are only going to work on just this one project, then it might not be very cost effective, and creating a jig out of plywood might be a better course of action.
  17. I have a manual pipe threader set and have never found black iron to be difficult to work with. Goes back to the right tools for the job, I suppose.
  18. https://www.gastite.com/us/technical-resources/xr3end-prep.html Looks like your are correct... Never have used the material myself.
  19. Wish I had a forge to play with... along with the time to learn the trade.
