  1. Wow, did that Makita saw come from Ace too? The only thing I can think of re: your quote is from the movie Ocean's 11. "I know a guy..."
  2. Well I ordered, then cancelled, a Triton jawhorse after reading less-than-stellar reviews that indicated quality had gone down since production went to China. Don't know how true that is, but just ordered a Rockwell Sheetmaster as I have only heard great things about them. We shall see.
  3. Well I did! Waiting on delivery of a LS1016L, and the Dewalt ms stand. Looking forward to using it.
  4. Not sure of this has been posted before, but I have had great luck with these coupon codes for Lowe's. 10% off all online orders $10 off $50 online $20 off $100 in store $15 off $50 online If the code doesn't work just refresh and grab another. http://renovopower.com/lowes.html

    Ebates

Yes, Ebates is a pretty sweet deal! Acme tool, Toolbarn, and Northern Tool are some of my go-to's. http://www.ebates.com/r/WILDRO4
  6. Hey guys, Somehow I ended up with one of these Milwaukee M18 side handles. If anyone wants it, it's your's. http://www.greatlakespowertools.com/Milwaukee-42-62-0525-Side-Handle-Assembly-p/42-62-0525.htm?gclid=Cj0KEQjw1v66BRCV-6rh6s-Biu8BEiQAelpui6Hd3vFV35aZTCze0N34AHgu_QVPqq9FIR4lCoDHsmYaAhyR8P8HAQ
  7. Are those jaw horse stands all pretty comparable?
  8. Hey gang, Well, I've gone and done it. I ordered a new Makita LS1016L SCMS! It will be my first miter saw, and I'd like to outfit it with a decent blade. From what I understand, I should probably be looking for a 10" with 60-80 teeth. I also am aware that with a slider, a small positive tooth angle, or even negative angle, is preferred. I a few Diablo makes one for a SCMS, D1060S. I believe it has a 7 degree positive angle. Thoughts?
  9. I'll buy a new jigsaw if they come out with a brushless model! Oh, and a recip saw too!
  10. No sweat, glad it made it! Cheers!
  11. I usually use a bread tie to lock the trigger on, then push it from behind with both hands. Is that wrong?
  12. I'll give you $283, and throw in a coozie.
  13. Oops, you're right Bmill25. However, your link also shows the standard charger.
  14. Haha, me too Knarly. It took 2 years for Apple to get most of the tech that my Turbo has. Aside from it's ability to mesh with One Key, of course... Actually, I ended up sending several hundred dollars worth of M18 tools back to the various retailers I bought them from. Every last one. I was finally at peace with the One Key fiasco, when the damned hammer drill up and stopped working completely. Waiting on my new Dewalt set, should be here next week. I'll wait before I buy a circ saw and recip, hopefully get brushless models coming out soon.
  15. I just looked at the hammerdrill impact driver M18 Fuel kit and it appears to me that it still has the standard multi-volt charger, not the rapid charger. http://www.cpomilwaukee.com/milwaukee-2897-22-m18-fuel-18v-cordless-lithium-ion-1-2-in--hammer-drill-and-1-4-in--hex-impact-driver-kit/miln2897-22,default,pd.html?start=1&cgid=milwaukee-cordless-combo-kits&prefn1=series&prefv1=FUEL 48-59-1812 is the standard charger, 48-59-1808 is the rapid charger
  16. Nice haul Chris! I've been trying to decide on a sharpener for some time now. That Worksharp 3000 looks pretty slick.
  17. Nice! I LOVE fondue! Wait.... Nevermind.... Thought they were fondue forks....
  18. Yeah, I'm good. I was on the first rung.
  19. Tell him to be careful! I fell off a 30' ladder yesterday!
  20. Ha! I'm strictly referring to sidewinders!
  21. All grown-up 7 1/4" circ saws I've used have had blade on the right, including the new Fuel. I'm sure hoping for brushless circ saw, as well as brushless recip. Hell, might as well throw in a jigsaw while you're at it! #SwitchingToTeamYellow
