Framer joe

Right handed, blade right ..rest the saw motor on the material look around right at the blade or look through the opening in the body of the saw right at the line,for shorter cuts...,or if you want look at the guide marks on the front of the saw as you cut,for longer cuts.....you want the saw lying flat on your material as you cut ,with the motor supported on the material....cut and the material doesn't bind ,it just drops down. ... It's not complicated

Roofing nailers are probably the same in number as framing nailers..per guys....typical framing crew of 10 guys will have 10/12 framing guns....typical roofing crew 2/6 guys will have 4 -8 guns.....sidewaller crews 2/10 guys will have more..6/15 staplers due to guns breaking easier......east coast most common asphalt shingles (architects) not 3 tab......I do hear the dewalt roofing gun is the fastest around.......... knarlyCarl yo I wish dewalt made a cordless roofing gun...def help installing windows and roofing !

Thanks guys, I'm a huge dewalt fan and thousand$ in dewalt tools especially cordless. I was a big Milwaukee guy,even got some fuel stuff but had to sell it and go back to dewalt..........I'm a framer and a deck company so dewalt is geared to my needs.....Spike guns,hanger guns,finish guns,impact wrenches,drills,impact drills,sawzall,bits.....etc...we work 7 days a week,in all weather so my tools Must work.....Dewalt tools take abuse and last....

This "hanger gun" or metal connector is good for smaller jobs...I have two...I'm a framer and build decks every weekend ,,,during the week ,hundreds of joist hangers,h2.5,ac6z,ls80,hu8 and many more get installed...during the week we use a compressor so air is available and a small hanger gun is better,faster and gets in tight places(like a bostich "strap shot").......on the weekend usually no power is available,so cordless is better,faster easier to do ...not as many joist hangers to install....that "gun" is heavy compared to a small nailer.....but works flawlessly so far

Sorry,you didn't enjoy the new dcr025 ,Framer..I have both and do agree with turner85 the tough system radio is tough..(I saw TIA guys drop it 65 ft and it survived).I haven't dropped the new Flexvolt radio from 20ft but I'm sure it will pass...I think the overall sound quality on the Flexvolt radio is better....the radio build and it's user friendly on the Flexvolt.....I don't like the open battery though. ....I like all the other features on the new radio also...being a framer plug outlets are a premium....the tough system bass does thump...I didn't say it had louder bass though,just louder and better sound quality overall......I do believe it's a better radio..I love it....thanks.

May i say...dewalt...i am a framer and deck builder...dewalt has all the cordless tools needed to build a house or build a deck..nailers,finish guns,hanger guns,the most powerful cordless circular saw..sawzall...drills,impact drills,impact wrenches..i need a complete system of tools to frame...flexvolt allows that...no other brand does....

Acme tools almost always has the newest tools first and in stock..plus great deals...i was getting free flexvolt batteries with every order long before the dewalt promo....

Is that a newer radio to replace the dcr025 that just came out ?

I have the tough system for a year..best sound ..and stacks....BUT..the top lid sucks..the cord sucks...i have the new dcr025 ...its louder,clearer,better storage compartment . .better reception . .better technology . .tougher..faster charge times including the flexvolt . .But battery on outside sucks,should have been a lid over it...you choose

Bought one today..love it. I like the drawer set up. .. Full extension on bottom draws....keyed same top and bottom ... soft close...love the color scheme...

Any news on a 5" orbital sander or trim router 20v max ?
