  1. Looks badass....I love my ego cordless self propelled....and can't wait to try the ego snow blower
  2. Ryobi is a good brand......I have a lot of their cordless tools ...now for a joiner ...in pine ..good...in azek good...in ipe (Brazilian hard wood ) no...oak ok if not too many joints...poplar is pushing it.....I have an old porta cable beast metal one...I use for all hard woods...Evan my old portable cable metal "sawzall" I would put up against any recipe saw out there today ...
  3. Yes,it is for me....for deck work it's great to hit the edges .....no power on any site till the houses are almost done....so cordless or generators
  4. I use it framing everyday...more of a round over or cove cut...especially for my deck company..rounding over 4x4 pt,mahogany, fir, it really works great and lasts all day.....I still have my Ryobi cordless router and 5" orbital sander they were the only company with them at the time....they still run great but the rigid is nicer...
  5. Ya seems so...it's at acme tools....I like it,just wonder what the 60v specs are compared to this at 3.5joles...the last 20vmax was dch283 ..at 2.0 joles ( I think that's that term ..joles)
  6. Thanks Bremon..so they could do a 60v /7.5 at the same size as the 60v 2.0 but more cost affordable to go to 3.0/9.0 .....really hoping batteries don't keep getting bigger then the 60v 3.0/9.0..just to big ....but if that's the max size ok...like 12ah 20v max or 4ah60v ....
  7. I came across this new new tool....dch293b 1 1/8" sds plus 20v max 3.5 j
  8. Does any one know how many amps you can go up in the same size 60v 2ah pack ? Like in 20v max the 3ah,4ah,5ah are all the same size battery ....
  9. Nice find....now I gotta find a cosco
  10. Ya ...I got sucked in to a Dewalt ad I read...I forgot the marketing bs...I honestly thought the new 9ah was bigger cells or something to beat Milwaukee 162wh....I am just a framer who loves tools......argh....still want it though...lol
  11. Conductor...I agree I dislike tool craze guy...he is dishonest and carries the manufacturer nut sack...........I think a 2-pack of 9.0ah will go for $199-250..like the 6.0 Flexvolt goes for 149 for 1 ..but a 2pack is 179....
  12. I read the 9.0 is bigger and as A..joe says it is heavier....but wow on the 180wh..
  13. Probably not a lot of diy guys will buy....but in my world (framers) can't wait for it to show up on my door step. Table saws, mitresaws, sds, power station....sounds unbelievable!

    Dewalt 9ah

New battery available at acme...dcb609.,,,$199. What's amazing is it's 180 wh as compared to Milwaukee 9ah at 162 wh .......yup yup
  15. Sorry, but they do make bit attachments for drywall that sets the depth
  16. I like my tools and batteries looking cool....as well as...work great and run long....I spend a lot of money on tools.......I wish I was as brilliant as (ford 77 or penny Ricky) to get tools for pennies...
  17. The new 20v max 6ah dont fit in the tough radio, width barely but they hit a bump from the inside on the left ,so you can't push the battery in to far,it just can't go in far enough to evan engage the power tab.....I suppose that bump down could be cut out and leave a hole in upper compartment, but that's not logical ...a 5.0 battery will last all day. ..........in case your wondering
  18. Ricky.....did you replace that dewalt power station ? If so any luck with the new one ?,,,,,I really wanted one and the other one for 149...
  19. I have a 2pack of the 20v max 6ah....acme tools had some they say preorder but..if you buy a lot of tools from them, you know...so $189 less $25 (dew2016) total $164 free shipping ,no tax....they work great ....the cover is ok,what's cool is the engraved "lithium ion" on the top edge.....they are about 1/2" longer then a 5 ah..about 1/4" taller than 5ah..a little heavier then the 5ah.,not much..and feels much lighter then the Flexvolt..the runtime feels better then the Flexvolt when we used them side side by on the same dcf887 impact driver...screwing down deck boards .....I like them.....I hope they continue in this maybe a 8ah...20v max...doubt it...............I going to get a couple more,,then the 60v /3ah in January...(so they say)..,,
  20. That sucks Ricky,,,glad I didn't find one yet..
  21. I just wanna know how,,,,I know Y.....I promise to use my powers for good, not evil....I have money, but alas not the knowledge,,thus rendering me useless in the tool isle, subjected to large bills and a lighter wallet....knowledge is power and Ricky and ford are all powerful!!!! Help a Dewalt addicted ol carpenter and member of DA ( dewalt anonymous)
  22. Ya...dps..don't follow your logic at all..".isn't 3 tools better than one" yes and 6 ryobi tools for$ 249 is Evan better....you say corded Circ Saw is heavy so you want to go cordless....but a Dewalt corded circ Saw weighs 8.7 lbs...the Milwaukee fuel cordless circ Saw weighs 9lbs....the Robi corded circ saw is 8lbs...? Ryobi has a huge platform for DIY....corded or cordless and some cordless tools other companies don't have...if price is a concern as it seems...... .....many fiber cement blades in 61/2. Ex. Milwaukee 48-40-4005 fiber cement blade 61/2"...if you want Milwaukee that's great,it a good company ..good tools....Rigid has better deals then Milwaukee....but only one company is the best........DEWALT
