  1. Man.... I tried to get this for a long time....I know it's not a big deal ,but I'm all about being organized and saving space....I tried buying this at Canadian Tire,no go..I tried buying this in the only stores I could find it,,HD in Texas ..they refused to sell it me ,even if I paid for fed ex to pick it up ...at any price.....I mean it's just a Compact, jump starter, compressor,USB charger but I always tried to be prepared for the worse...I relied on my anker charger (worked great) and my Ryobi compressor (works amazing ) for years....but this is Dewalt man ,Dewalt ....jk...HD in my area finally had it online.....I just had to have it ...you know what I mean ?
  2. I have the planer,it works great.! Love the pics
  3. I almost never buy first gen tools.....I even waited on my 20v max stuff....I did jump into Flexvolt though...the ego self propelled mower is awesome, the new blower is insane, 530cfm...look above at the rapid load ,for the trimmer...i just use ego ope..around my crib though, not pro......dr99...gotta say I break out my 20v max trimmer a lot ,I love it...
  4. Lol...no I mean I know tools are coming soon, there are posts here, like the 20v max brad gun..I wish I knew, but I couldn't post if I did...I'd love to go to those new tool events ,try new tools ...
  5. Ya ..the brushless thing is a big deal...wish you left blade guys would get the same as us right blade guys...should be a choice for everyone, even if the profits don't warrant it....
  6. Just watched that this morning....yup yup...I love ego everything ope...shoot if they make a impact drill I'd buy it...I'd be yellow and green...their latest blower is insane...not to mention the baddest looking blower ever
  7. Nice looking tools.from ,Milwaukee....slightly better then 20v max ope...but Dewalt 40v is great...BUT...ego..ego..ego..is damn awesome..the best ope ! I have ego tools...all I can say is damn good...but I'm a framer so what do I know..:)
  8. Dc9182 does replace it....I use the adapter at work on the18v brad gun...Dewalt is coming out with a 20v version soon,,,but the adapter is a little bulky...but if I owned a lot of older 18v tools I'd get it just for the newer batteries....we still have a few older drills in 18v ...( ya I know it's all 18v) they still work, just not powerful. But it does say that Dewalt makes a good tool to last this long....can't wait for the new tools coming, wish I knew when exactly...
  9. Cr....you know the 20v has blade left ..not brushless..not 7.25...but it's a great saw for any DIY project....just not the power of Flexvolt....
  10. I'd buy one,,,just to have one...if it's blade right and 7.25 blade I don't understand that...some wanted blade left 7.25 ...I understand if ur not in Flexvolt and want a 7.25 saw ,I get it....but that 20v max won't compete with the fuel only the Flexvolt beats it...and the rafter hook thing ,,I don't know anyone on any crew, ever, that uses a rafter hook and hangs a saw up high....all rafters, jack rafters, hip rafters, valley rafters, basterd hip rafters are done by math and cut on a set of horses.....if your cutting stock like that ,you definitely can't build and have bigger problems then a rafter hook........yo yo yo I appreciate the pic sir...gotta love the pics
  11. Did not know these types exist...I have the 20v max jig and a barrel bosh...I'd buy a Dewalt like that Milwaukee one
  12. I'm with you on that...ya it's like I watch this (ave) on yt...companies will spend a lot on good components, then use a cheap shit piece where it matters...just build quality ...we will pay ...there are plenty of DIY companies...make professional tools last or improve what you already have ....good point
  13. Take it your on insights @Bremon ? I'll be more then happy to try to influence Dewalt into making quality professional cordless tools, I'll give brutally honest opinions and recommendations on how to improve what they show me and what to develop.....at least I have a voice now representing framers/ construction guys ...although a small voice....price to me doesn't matter...Quality does..long lasting quality tools....
  14. I just joined insights too,,,I'm in...thanks , didn't even know it existed. I hope I/we can influence Dewalt to improve tools where needed and make tools we need ...also to take care of loyal customers first ,,like preorders.....love TIA forum
  15. Sweet....thing is Dewalt should say something like ..." we are working on these future items and we'll keep you posted" to the general tool companies and let them advertise it......because a lot of people /companies (myself included) spend Enormous amounts of money on their tools and we should know what's available and upcoming before wasting money on current options ,when better ones are months away......I will say this forum has saved me money by guys reviewing tools positively or negatively and allowing me to make an educated choice....I really appreciate it....and jronman ,thanks
  16. Feel bad for you jman and others that preordered and got fkd...Dewalt should honor all preorders first then hit HD....I agree with you guys.....gotta be loyal to your base first, that's how you loose customers....I'm old school and all about loyalty... . at least you still gonna make some loot on the stuff...power to ya..
  17. The 9.0 works great on the flex circ saw...you don't notice weight cuz it's restin on the material 90% of the time...but run time feels like double the 6ah ...and power is up....I love the 3.0/9.0 flex ...I want even more power !
  18. Welcome.....I agree with the crew above......I would ask this first..." what am I using these tools for " DIY use ? Occasional use? Serious building ? When you know that ,then you can plan out your tool buying strategy.,because buying the wrong tools for the job can be costly,,,This crew is very insightful helpful ,informed and some of the best guys/gals around....some guys could actually buy your kit for a penny ...but that's another story...
  19. Thanks @bremon....I'll take 2 more 2packs please
  20. That does suck @bremon ....I tried to buy that Dewalt 1400 jump starter( the one I talked to you about) from Canadian Tire but they wouldn't .so.I know how you feel man,,but,I'm happy Ricky got a new one and it works...
  21. Congrats on your new drill...and welcome ...I thought lith ion batteries drained some even if not used , I read it somewhere on here...but I'm not sure....and as they all said....keep your receipt....
  22. So I think that means $219 US dollars ? For dcb609-2
