  1. It's black on the outside and yellow inside
  2. I bought this set..99$...it has very heavy duty wrenches ,sockets ...they are heavy....but I'm a framer so I don't know mechanics tools
  3. My favorite is the 5.0ah...I have dozens...it feels perfect on everything, great runtime....but I'm a framer so I need the Flexvolt circ saw power ,so I'm going to run 3.0/9.0 on all Flexvolt tools and I'll upgrade when they increase the ah ......for 20v max, I have 6/6ah ...the runtime is 20% more ..really not much more and added weight and size ,sometimes gets in the way to fit in small places .......
  4. I'm going to get more 3.0/9.0 also...it is big ..but ,I believe Dewalt will increase ah this year again...for my mitre saw, table saw, future power station, sds (coming) and many more high demand tools...I'll be ready to buy ...anything to increase my company's efficiency and save time and money, while maintaining high standards...I'm all in..
  5. Happy for you,I want one...didn't pull the trigger yet...very cool idea...I see it's value ,I wish the bare tool price was more like 199...I have boat loads of batteries tooo..
  6. Really....that would suck ,because it is definitely being used outside in the rain and snow....I haven't read any info on it anywhere and acme didn't know....
  7. Acme ...17% off deal...and I had a credit there....really good deal...I'm sure Dewalt will have a much cheaper 2pack soon...
  8. I would have done the same thing....Dewalt should come out with a storage shed to house all our tools and storage containers....make it like a tough system case with a vent..! Lol
  9. Just some fun pics....I think the 9ah on my impact dcf877 is a bit too big !
  10. My set is nothing compared to 77ford...and he paid less lol !
  11. I'd bring it back...get your money or another one...
  12. It's here the 20v 9ah / 60v 3ah....it's BIG.....Does anyone know what the 2 round holes are on top of the new 9ah ? (Heat disperse?)......batteries in order.......................9ah,6ah (Flexvolt) 6ah (20v max) 5ah,2ah..
  13. Probably have another 20-25 tough boxes in my tool shed...one of those things I just hate to get rid of. ...I even keep a 150 on the boat with hand tools, drill in it.....Now ...77 Ford is downright amazing with that collection....
  14. Can't beat tough system boxes...waterproof,rugged,stackable....for outside use imo they are the best....I also love tstak ,although not as heavy duty, they are durable and have great storage ...
  15. It's interesting ....I agree battery weight is going to come into play...I think Dewalt will go up to 60v / 4ah ,and 20v max 8ah...I mean that's enough for all day....then I hope Milwaukee and Dewalt can get different cells for more compact batteries ...like a slim 5ah..and 20 min charge times.....I'm excited about this years new tools coming out....
  16. Does either one have pulse mode to use a laser detection..?
  17. Thanks Bremon... 12ah at the 3.0/9.0 size would be awesome...so that would be 20v max 12ah and 60v at 4ah...i think......I think if they get up to 60v at 6ah that would be more then enough for all day work on any tool
  18. Empire makes nice levels..digital ones are great..stabile is still the best at any price...
  19. I look forward to adding some more Ryobi batteries to my line up...that xmas deal of 2/4.0 for 99$ is great...hopefully the new batteries will be cheap
  20. I have it. I've used it every week for years, no problem...it does a great job...always use a sharp blade....you get hurt when using dull tool blades...
  21. It's a very nice tool...gotta have one right ?
  22. Framer joe

    Brushless Sander

    Looks badass...I'm sure it's a good tool
  23. The Ryobi one is great and last a long time on a 4.0...really doesn't feel awkward cause your gripping the middle...the ridgid one is a little better ...
