Pretty sure lawyers here in the states would find a way to sue on behalf of the criminal.

This is generations of planned obsolescence having been ingrained into our brains. Much more convenient to buy something new than repair it.

Craftsman’s new RP Brushless Jig Saw
fyrfytr998 replied to fyrfytr998's topic in All others not listed
Looks like I may have been mistaken. I went over all the DeWalt and PC models. This saw is not a clone of any of them. Could it be that the new RP line now has its own R&D budget? This is exciting!! -
Why are these Stanley blades sold only in Italian websites?!!!

Here's a question...... How many of you home carry? I do sometimes, but either way, I have something always safely stored within arms reach.
-
All my tools reside in my garage, since that's where I do 99% of my work. I have a small "house" tool kit, but that's only for basic things.

I see rounded Stanley's for sale here, but not the Carbide kind. -
I was out of the military long before optics became the norm. How do you guys shoot up close if the ACOG is a fixed 3x or 4x?

Do you mean brand or round point specifically? -
I am a color coding fanatic, and it causes me pain to own a Kobalt Miter Saw and Circular saw. I'm knee deep in Craftsman Red and am hoping for them to release a dual bevel miter saw of their own. I can sell the circular since I own a Festool Track saw and own a Craftsman Recip.

Today I jumped on a Lowes deal where they were selling 6ah batteries for my V20 tools for only $89 bucks from $129. So I bought the only two in the store.

Love my TSC55. How many tracks you pick up? And will you drop the 400 plus on the 110" one piece track?
-
Cool. You can let me know how you guys are liking the Stanley Fat Max v20 system down under.
-
welcome aboard!!

I think SBD doesn’t care about Ridgid since in Lowes, that slot is occupied by Kobalt. I think SBD is smart to focus on Pro Grade and DIY and let others deal with prosumer class.

Craftsman’s new RP Brushless Jig Saw
fyrfytr998 replied to fyrfytr998's topic in All others not listed
Because DeWalt is the Flag Ship brand at SBD. They don’t copy their parent companies lesser brands. The Craftsman tile saw is just a rebranded Porter Cable. If they did that, they would lose customer confidence fast. That’s like asking why doesn’t Milwaukee copy Ryobi so they can finally put out a track saw. Milwaukee fans would lose their minds. -
That’s not Craftsman wheelhouse or aim currently. I think they want Red to take on the Neon Green for DIY markets.

You can have a 240V Craftsman charger if you are outside US/Canada

Me too. -
Dude right? The Makita throwing smoke from the stack takes the cake.

Looks like DeWalt isn’t the only one getting a pin nailer

You are correct. There are no parts to be had by retail outlet. Why not just get a new updated model?

Nah. This adapter is for V20 batteries only to run PC platform tools. There is a non SBD adapter the goes PC to V20, but it’s unofficial and therefore able to void the warranty. https://www.ebay.com/itm/203343756096?mkevt=1&mkcid=1&mkrid=711-53200-19255-0&campid=5338722076&customid=&toolid=10050
